And so, for the last time this year here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

I hope that today's result is a good one, and that Bootcamp overall has been a positive (and downward!) experience.

We'll keep this thread going as an ongoing chat/support thread.

I lost 6lb and am thrilled. Really it's 7 but I cheated on the first entry :)
I'm going to carry on as much as I can over Christmas.
Thank you BIWI and wombatto.

Thank you BIWI! Today is my last proper LC day- I am off on a mini break tonight and have no idea what will be available for food. And then there will be Christmas. I will be back to it next Tuesday.

Morning all!

Thank you for running this BIWI. I've been on it 3 weeks tomorrow and have lost 1 st 3lbs. Looking forward to the next boot camp after Christmas.

No loss this week, but better than a gain! Especially as I've been away with work and had me and my husband's work do on Friday and Saturday. It's getting harder to get the losses now that I'm a low-ish bmi (21) I'll keep going though, not much to go now! Never thought I'd be saying that when I started the summer bootcamp at pushing 20stone!

Thanks for the support and good luck to everyone weighing in today!

Thanks BIWI and all. Have had a week of total carb and sugar chaos - my sister's birthday, my birthday, many get-togethers with work and family and friends. Which is lovely but means I'm weighing in at 162.2 - a 0.3lb gain on the whole BC. Blush I know how to get on top of it, but this time of year is proving very tricky. Going to plan to be sensible low-mid carb for the next couple of weeks and then back to LC in Jan. Merry Christmas everyone! Xmas Smile

Thanks BIWI

I've lost another pound so that is a total 10 pound loss for me that I haven't been able to shift for a couple of years! and there is it gone in 8 weeks!

Thank you so much for bringing me back to conscious eating and listening to my body! I love low carb. And to think I half heartedly joined as I had doubts I would lose much. Chuffed is not the word!

I will loosen the reigns for a few days of Christmas, but the thought of feeling full & stodgy doesn't appeal in the slightest so going for a damage limitation strategy (even wondering if I can squeeze some celeriac roasties in the oven just for me..LOL - im cooking for 16 so limited space).

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas x

ps. will there be a new year boot camp?

MothershipG · 19/12/2016 17:08

Thanks BIWI

I only managed 12lbs this boot camp but it puts me fractionally under the 10st mark. One more stone to go, but I'll deal with that in the New Year.

Honestly I feel I need a break from this woe, I know lots of the food is great and it has definitely worked for me but I'm feeling increasingly deprived. CakeBiscuitCakeBiscuitXmas Sad

So the plan is to not deprive myself over Xmas and then get back to work on that last stone in 2017.

See you all for the next bootcamp! X

Thanks for the new thread BIWI
Pip You have done amazingly well and have every right to feel proud of yourself.
Mothership 12lbs is an incredible loss. You should be pleased with that.
Shady I don't think BIWI has decided yet if she'll have time to do a New Year boot camp. They are usually really busy well, the first week anyway
I think everyone has done well to be 'still standing' at the end of boot camp.

I will be checking into the thread most days to keep it alive. For those of you checking out - have a wonderful Christmas Xmas Grin

Thanks for the support everyone ending at
153lb total loss this bootcamp 11lb.
Last stone to go in 2017 on more bootcamps. Husband also joined in for this bootcamp in parts. He has got back to the weight he was in his twenties Smile
I plan to have a few days of festive foods but then will be ready to restart my own bootcamp if one not running.

Thanks BIWI and wombattoo and everyone for the support.

No loss this week if you could add me please Wombattoo

Veryflummoxed 188. Not a huge loss over all but averages out at a pound a week over this Bootcamp with no hunger and lovely food so I am committed to this woe.

I'm going to keep posting and plan to LC over Christmas. I found a low carb stuffing recipe today which dh is going to cook me.

Well done to all the losers. Have a lovely Christmas everyone.

BIWI I really can't thank you enough for doing this and if you decide enough is enough for now that is very understandable. FlowersFlowersFlowersFlowersFlowersFlowers

Flowers to you all! Some really good results.

Christmas is a very testing time, and the best advice I can give you is to be very clear about when your 'holiday' begins and ends.

And don't feel guilty about it!

Not sure about a New Year bootcamp - mainly because I'm off to Australia for a holiday in early January Grin

... although that means I'll probably be in need of one by the time I return.

It's more likely that the next one will be late Jan/early Feb.

Thank you BIWI and wombatto and everyone else for the support.

Late Jan/early Feb would be perfect for another bootcamp. The new year zeal might be wearing off a bit - a great time for a boost with the structure of a bootcamp.

This has been my first bootcamp and I've totally loved it. Have lost an amazing 1 stone 13 pounds (albeit from a very heavy start). Hoping for another pound to hit 2 stone by Christmas.

I feel healthier, no bloating, more energetic, and I look better in my clothes. Still a long way to go for me, but I will stick with this WOE as I head towards my 50th birthday next year.

Good advice about having specific dates for the 'holiday'. Mine is starting on the afternoon of Friday 23rd, and I'll have a think now about which dates I'm going to have as holiday and which will be LCHF.

Prudence That is a fantastic result, especially considering this was a relatively short boot camp. Well done. It doesn't matter what you weighed at the start. You are still nearly 2 stone lighter Thanks

Hello anyone Grin
Just checking in to see how we all managed yesterday. I ate a lovely dinner and had a fair bit of alcohol and went to bed feeling the size of barrage balloon. Time to get back in control methinks.

Good Morning wombatoo! Merry Christmas!

I have been feeling like a giant gas balloon for the past week now, and will not stop feeling like one for another week :( On the bright side it has shown me why I should keep on sticking to this woe though.

Merry Christmas Dillite. In truth, I will probably still be eating crap for another few days. We have the tools to get back on track.

Hi all. Well I managed to stay boot camp light. (If we ignore the odd bit of popcorn I snaffled from ds.) However I totally ignored my full up signals and ate loads. It was lovely though. Creamed leeks and cauliflower cheese, delicious low carb stuffing dh made with cauliflower and sausage meat and onion, sprouts with bacon, not to forget the turkey. Berries yogurt and cream for pud. I ignored the chocs and snacked on nuts. Then did it all again Boxing Day. There was definitely no deprivation involved. Ha just realised I never even thought of let alone ate the dark chocolate I'd bought for me. Always tomorrow though Grin. My plan was always to enjoy but avoid the descent into binge land that that the carby food causes me. So far feeling very in control. I had intended to photograph and post Christmas dinner but was too excited at the thought of eating it. Oh and I did have some wine. Merry Christmas Wombatto and Dillite and everyone else.

Merry Christmas everyone! I went off plan, or as off plan as I can go as a Coeliac, anyway! I'd planned 24, 25, 26 off plan first time since summer bootcamp. I didn't go too bad but I had a glass of Stoli every night and half bottle of champagne everyday and also Potatoes all days and berry pavlova on 24th, panna cotta on 25th and creme caramel on 26th Xmas Blush

Weighed myself this morning - 2lbs on. I was expecting a lot worse after 3 relatively days. Back on it today, possibly will have a day or two off at New Year, I'll have to see how I feel. I'm a bit worried that I haven't 'suffered' too much to my planned lapse don't want to get into eating lots carbs all time again! I'll have a think about New Year and what to do.

Very Congratulations. I wish I had been as controlled as you Blush
