Am motivated to stick with it. Giving up booze has really helped, plus the water as well as the food obv! 9lb is a lot. Was day one of my period on Monday and puffy and dehydrated but I will take it. Good luck everyone! X

Wow wentworth, what an amazing loss, congrats!!

I am down 2.2lbs today, woohoo! Really pleased, especially as I'm not new to LC-ing. I think BC has helped focus my mind and I've really tried not to snack this week as I have no self control and can see away 200g of Brie in 2 minutes Blush but on this WOE I rarely need to snack anyway, so it's all good!

Good luck for the rest of the Week 1 WIs!

5lbs down! So glad i didn't cave and eat the donuts on Sat at the fair haha.

Today will be tricky as I will only get a break at 10.45am for 10 mins and then will be working until 3.30pm so i'm going to have to scoff some easy food then to tide me over until I get home. I'm taking some tuna mayo mixed with cheese and cucumber.

Breakfast is yoghurt and dinner will be 2 chicken thighs, swede mash and roasted sprouts with the leftover cheese sauce from last nights dinner.

Good luck to everyone weighing in. xx

179 so 1lb off.

No idea how as I didn't do anything remotely bootcampy last week - really, this should be my week 1.

On the plus side, I know EXACTLY where I've gone wrong (not enough water, chocolate, pastries) so I can rectify it this week. I was meant to have surgery last week but it's been moved to this week, however DH is well versed in low carbing and as long as he sticks to the meal plan, it'll be fine.

Well done everyone and thanks pippil. I am a huge carb fan - porridge, pastries, crackers, won't mention any more but you get my drift. Eat carbs with every meal normally so this is a big shift. Have been doing MFP for the past 6 weeks and have lost 2lb only. I must be really carb sensitive.
Booze free weekend helps as well! I can do it short term but long term I need a real plan!
Happy Monday everyone.

1lb 3oz off for me. Been lowcarbing for a while and weight loss had stalled so v happy with that. I think cutting dairy this week must have helped.

2lb off and am hormonal today so I'm happy with that.

A nice 4lbs off for me, very happy. Two more and I'll be at my next mini-goal of 49lbs / 3.5 stone down overall! Come on, this week...

Well done on the losses everyone!

165 this morning, so that's a 7 lb drop, can someone please put it on the spreadsheet, I'm on my phone
I not expecting to lose that much, had a couple of "moments" like 3 marshmallows before it dawned on me!!
I have still been snacking, mostly due to habit I think, but I am very pleased with this weeks results, hope it doesn't slow down to much

Lost 2lb this week, which I'm rather happy with as I am rather partial to carbs (pasta!!) Smile

Does anyone have any advice for those of us who can't eat dairy? Is it okay to just substitute in soy yogurt for dairy yogurt?

8lb loss here!! Halloween Grin Very happy with the loss at loads to lose but as I'm breastfeeding (and following BC lite because of this) I'm very aware it's important for me to lose weight more slowly. Having read around the subject 2lb a week max should be my max, and according to the diet doctor website should ensure I'm eating 50g carbs a day. Thinking of using mfp to track my carb intake as I think once your in the swing of this it will be easy not to make that amount.

A big thumbs up to LCHF though, definitely feeling much less inclination to snack/less hunger. I'm beginning to recognise when I want to eat out of habit (the evening when kids in bed) and when I am actually hungry!

Still can't weigh in due to no battery left in scales. I must buy a new battery this week.
Clothes definitely feel better though.

I was ridiculously busy last week so barely posted but have been trundling along. Unfortunately now I have a really sore throat and absolutely no voice. My dc are loving it!

Well done losers! This diet really has amazing results KOKO

Good morning all! Well done on all these losses Smile

I'm down 3.6 pounds, very happy with that and now my next goal is 3 more to take me back to my lowest earlier in the year (173). Then I want to get under the next stone barrier. Onwards and downwards!

I'm really noticing how much I was relying on nuts, nut butter, sweeteners (including diet drinks) and berries prior to starting BC - I was telling myself I was doing BC light Blush but could eat a whole bag of mixed nuts in one go...

Today:
B - coffee & cream, fried eggs and bacon, spinach
L - leftover meatballs & courgetti
D - smoked salmon, asparagus, courgetti in cream sauce

No loss for me this week but I've been low carbing for a while and things had slowed down. I need to make sure to drink enough water and up the fat I think. Good luck with your weigh ins everyone Smile

Holy shit!!! I'll admit I didn't take much notice of the "dramatic weight loss in the first week" stories, because I didn't want to feel a failure if I lost, say, half a pound, and give up.

I've just had to check the batteries in my scales, hop on and off about 20 times, then leg it up to Tesco just to check my weight on their scales.

15.2lb LOSS!!!

Can someone please update the spreadsheet for me? 195.8. I can't fucking believe it!!

This will spur me on.

If I can maintain this, I don't care if I stall for the rest of the eight weeks.

Halloween Shock

And has anyone else found that their appetite has drastically reduced? I now believe I was mistaking hunger for thirst. I try to time my water intake so that I drink a pint-glassful before every meal, which means I've been eating less.

Today's menu

B. Leftover beef stew (beef, stock, mushrooms, tiny amount of tomatoes- one can in a huge, 15 serving pan)
L: Goats cheese spread on cucumber
D: Chicken leg, salad
My own weight in water/peppermint tea

Well done everyone. I've lost 4 lbs this week - I didn't expect a massive drop as I've been cutting down for the last few weeks but this means I've lost more than a stone since 19th September taking me to 14 2.5 and all-importantly under 200 lbs on the spreadsheet!

Good morning all, some fantastic weight losses, well done. Pop that was amazing.

I have remained that same this week. Have been mostly BC since May though (having gone up at the end of last BC and losing the increase since)

Despite no weight loss I feel more in control and lacking cravings since last BC ended so that must be due to the fantastic support this thread offers.

If I remember rightly I didn't loose in my first week of last BC, so to anyone who hasn't had a loss don't be too concerned, your time will come.

Can someone add me please.

Veryflummoxed 196.
