Morning all

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness once again

A horribly busy week for me, so apologies if I'm not around quite so much Sad

I hope the scales have been kind to you, but don't forget to take your measurements as well.

Hope you all have a good week

I fell off the wagon over the weekend so I'm skipping weigh in today. Back on track this morning with Greek yoghurt and egg in a cup for breakfast.

one pound off for me, which quite frankly is miraculous given the pizza and beer on Saturday. Got a super strict week planned this week to make sure the pizza doesnt show on this week's scales!
Hope everyone had a good loss and has a good week

To answer a few points from last week's thread:

still (I think you asked this), we carry on with Bootcamp Light; no introduction of anything else until we get to the end

back if you're grazing all day this could be at the heart of your problem. Every time you eat you're creating insulin spikes - even if they're small ones - which means you're not really keeping your blood sugar levels stable, and if you're eating carby stuff when you're grazing that's even worse. Far better to try and aim for 2 or 3 meals a day with minimal snacking. (I appreciate, though, that your job may make this harder).

You may not have thought you had a dairy problem before, and you may not have one, but it might be worth dropping the dairy for a few days to see if that has any benefit for you.

175.6 if someone can add that to the spreadsheet for me? Really really pleased after last week's gain!

I'm now the smallest I've been in 2 years - I couldn't do this without this group, you're all fab Star

Fingers crossed for everyone else this morning and Flowers for those of you having a hard time - both on and off the scales

margaritas well done for avoiding carbage - but you do realise that cashews are high carb, don't you?! Almonds and macadamias are a much better choice - assuming you have a choice, obviously!

Notdead glad you've found the full glory of the spreadsheet. It's not called the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for nothing!

After being a pound up for the most of the week, I have lost over the last three days and am now 2.4lbs down. To say I'm pleased would be an understatement. GrinThat brings me into the 10stone something zone. Ok, so, I'm 10st 13.6lbs, but I'll take that. Grin I have remained on BC mainly. The only bit of BC lite I had was two squares of 90% choc. I'll stick with that as it's obviously working.
Im on a train to London at the moment and had their cooked breakfast. It wasn't too bad - fried egg, mushroom, two rashers of bacon and one small sausage. I know the sausage won't be lc, but today is going to be about compromise. I didn't eat the black pudding.
I'm at a course today. I am being trained to be a better trainer! Lunch is provided and I am guessing it will be sandwiches, hence the cooked breakfast. I have lc snacks in my bag. Will also struggle with the water today, but will do my best.
Good luck to everyone else.

I've stayed the same again. Bit disappointed as I ate well after the scone incident. Think I may be starting to eat too many nuts though so will cut those out again.

A 1.6lb gain for me Confused. I didn't go far off track I thought on Saturday/Sunday but I haven't been drinking enough water, I know that. It's extra frustrating as I had lost 0.5lb by Wednesday so I'm 2lb up from there.

I knew it might not be great - this is nearly the end of my week 3 after all as I'm 10 days behind but it's still disheartening. I might need to watch the dairy and the types of vegetables a bit more and definitely must drink lots more water. I will KOKO!!

Well done to everyone who has lost weight and KOKO to everyone else Smile

Good morning everyone and hope you all have happy results today. I stayed the same 209. However I'm ok with that (as long as I drop again soon) as my weight fluctuates widely, according to my scales, but this has not happened this week and so 209 has been my top as well as bottom weight which looks hopeful. Plus I've listened to Biwi and everyone who posts saying weight loss isn't linear etc. So thank you to all the wonderfully encouraging posters on here.

Could someone add me to the spread sheet please

I'm going to have to write off last week altogether. I guess the only thing is that it's only a 2lb gain.
Ds is on a kind of promoting positive behaviour reward chart which was kind of working but I see him falling back into his old ways.. I realise it's not even been a week but I'm at my wits end.
To top it all off it would seem that dh will be heading back to Africa for work which is guaranteed to happen just at the beginning of the school holidays, something needs to change before that or I will never cope.
Wow, moan, moan, moan. I do apologise

Well done losers KOKO to all the sts'ers

Thanks BIWI I didn't realise grazing was a problem. 2 meals I can manage. I am finding I am just not hungry for lunch most days but was conscious of not eating enough so had been grazing thinking that would be better than skipping a meal entirely. Am I better to just skip a meal if I am not hungry rather than picking at bits?

Still 133 lbs - no change again. Slightly annoying, but hey ho. KOKO and all that…..

I'm sorry for those of you who didn't lose this week or stayed the same. It's very frustrating! But please please don't give up as 1) we have all been there and it does get better 2) slip ups happen, that's life 3) the main thing is to jump back on the wagon after a bad week / day / hour rather than feeling desperate and calling it a day.

I've been recording my weight loss for many months now and I've clearly seen the overall pattern of losing weight which is not evident if you look at it from day to day as weight hugely fluctuates, based on random things but also based on where you are in your cycle etc. But over time there is a clear pattern of weight loss.

Well, a 0.7lbs gain for me, 166.9. Either the nut overconsumption, cheeky Aperol Spritz, and other hidden carbs in eating out a lot have caused a gain, or it's because I upped my sodium to combat the tiredness/cramps and I'm retaining more water. Going to avoid nuts and alcohol as far as possible this week.

Bit frustrating as I saw 165 on the scales during my first week, but can't seem to get there or past it now, so feels like I've flatlined for three weeks. But I've got NSVs to hold on to: my body fat and waist percentages are down, and I've bought a size 12 for the first time in years.

Stilllovingmysleep - yes - I love extra virgin olive oil and live off the stuff too. Wasn't including that in my vegetable oil category (are olives fruits??). Meant 'seed oils' (so - sunflower et al). And only because The Real Meal Revolution said it was terrible (and they espouse LCHF eating too). Just assumed it was the same… My mistake.

Anyway - am going to make my own mayo this morning…

Have lost 2lb of my weight gain of 8lb, so I recorded just the 6lb gain for this week. Totally deserved, I ate awfully for 3 days and I am still suffering stomach cramps and feeling crap.

Well done to all the losers! KOKO for the others, life has ups & downs and I guess the scales just reflect that :)

Feeling totally despondent today, as somehow I seem to have put on 3lb. I've no idea how. I have been following BC completely, not even doing BC lite. This means that in the 7 weeks I've been LCing I have now only lost 2lb in total.

In the last 7 weeks I have eaten no sweets, cakes, biscuits, puddings, fruit, pastry, potatoes, pasta, bread, rice, pulse, legumes, nuts. Absolutely none. Apart from some wine when I was away a couple of weeks ago, I have drunk no alcohol, nor any fruit juices/fizzy drinks.

I have been drinking all my water, and eating plenty of fat (I'm cooking everything in butter/olive oil, and putting either olive oil or mayonnaise on all my salads), and eating crackling, chicken skin, avocados.

I have cut down dairy, and am having no milk or yoghurt at all, cream mostly in my tea (and occasionally in a sauce) and some cheese, but less than I was at the beginning.

Really not sure what to do now. Sad

Thanks for the new thread again, and well done everyone losing!

I've had a gain of 1.6lb. It's no wonder really. While I only had that one night of carby twatness, there's been too much dark chocolate and wine in the days since then. And periods started last night, finally. I'm feeling generally bloated, fat and constipated. Lovely!

Need to do better, and actually think what I'm eating again.

Plan today:

B: two fried eggs and a BPC
L: mozzarella and a pile of salad veggies
D: spicy chicken thighs and cauliflower rice

I need to measure the water I'm thinking again. I think I've been drinking too little in the past few days.

somuchtobits - that is SO frustrating. No idea how to advise you but hopefully someone will be along who can soon...
I have sts again (my tantalising whoosh a few days ago has vanished) but I did fall into a vat of white wine on Sat eve so that will probably have done it. How depressing that one slip up buggers it all up... Felt so unwell yesterday too - stomach ache as well as fuzzy head/headache. Ah well. Going to be a tough week as away for a few days and harder to drink water as out and about a lot (don't want to be wondering where I can find a loo all the time). Will do my best though and get back on it when I can. My whoosh did def happen when I made a real effort drinking more water.
On my phone so please cd someone put me down wintersea 165 thank you!
Have a good week all

1.6 gain here. And it's hardly a mystery why. Wine. Chocolate. And snacking

I have a tough week ahead wine wise. A drinks reception thing for work, and 2 barbecues at the weekend. But this thread helps so much with resolve I am going to keep my food completely perfect and wine minimal

I've bought some coyo yoghurt things to have after dinner in place of chocolate. And I think I will avoid nuts this week too.

I'm not giving up. I just need to do it properly and remember I'm on a diet. Thanks BIWI. Grin

Not weighing in today, I've had a terrible week and I'm feeling so low and miserable lately. Think the effects of the past year this family has had has truly caught up with me. I've been drinking too much and eating whatever and as you can imagine my mood is really shit.

I've dug out my copy of IPD book and I'm going to get back on track, today I need to be a bit kind to myself. Feels like I've let everyone down, sorry. Hoping for a better week ahead. Flowers

Half a pound up here. And after the wine every night at th weekend and the crisps and cheese and biscuits and garlic bread I will take that. Frustrated but only at myself. But as DH pointed out I'm just coming to the end of radiotherapy treatment and a stressful time with DS and migraines so I've not done too badly really.

Back on track today. DH is away till Friday so no wine temptation. Will plan my food for the week and will try and get out for a walk every day.

Somuchtobits - that does sound frustrating. I don't know why it would be happening. It certainly sounds as if you are doing all the right things.
