Welcome everyone!

We have around 130 people signed up this time, so it's going to be a busy and fast-moving thread.

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for you to enter your weight.

The lovely Sayrra manages the spreadsheet. Please don't mess with it! Just enter your weight and leave all the other columns/rows alone!

I'll start a questions thread to run along side this chat thread, so that you can post stuff there in the knowledge that your question will definitely be seen. (I can't promise to get to your questions immediately, but I will read and answer them)

And please, please, please - no matter how fast-moving the thread is, please read the whole thing and don't just post your own thing. You'll miss a lot of valuable stuff that way, and it also presumes that I (and other posters) are happy to keep repeating stuff.

But above all, very good luck everyone!

For those who need to eat on the run ...

I popped into M&S today and they had packs with a couple of boiled eggs with some spinach and manchego wrapped in serano ham. Lots of low carb options there so definitely worth a look.

Really looking forward to starting tomorrow, though slightly dreading the weigh in.

Of course not, Bagpuss! Just add your name to the bottom of the list on the spreadsheet. And welcome!

Hi. Been lchf for about a week now. It's exciting to start officially. Was completely unable to enter my weight on the spread sheet. Is that because I'm on my phone? I think I read earlier that if I put it here it will get entered for me so here goes.
214 lb. Good luck everyone. Smile

Veryflummoxed I've added it for you. Plus put mine.

I am a stone lighter now than 2 months ago but want to lose another stone before the summer holiday. I'm hoping all the ideas and encouragement here will keep me on track. Thanks BIWI, this has come at a perfect time for me.

Yay, thanks BIWI!
Early check in from Kenya here (2h ahead). I'm here for a couple of weeks working at a veg pack house. I've been watching all the tasty green veg trundling down the lines and wondering if any will end up on our boot camp dinner plates :-)
Could someone enter my weight please as I can't do it on my phone.... 150lb.
Good luck everyone Smile

Thanks BIWI. I have heeded your advice on the previous thread and dug out a dress I want to be wearing in 10 weeks. It is hung up on my bathroom door judging me!

Not a good start to the day. DD woke me at 4am because her blanket had fallen off. Obviously it is easier to come across the landing into my room and wake me rather than pick it up herself!!

Start weight is 192lb. Yuck. Measurements - waist 39", hips 41", back 35". Hope no one minds me posting them, I need the accountability of the numbers on the screen.

Todays plan is:

Breakfast: Cheese and mushroom omelette , chai tea with double cream and coconut oil. (surprisingly delicious)
Lunch: salmon salad
Tea: chicken curry (homemade with chicken chunks marinated in FF yogurt, garam massalla, cumin, chilli and turmeric. Very nice) served with some mushrooms and a green salad on the side.
Snacks: pork scratchings (very posh pork scratchings are wheat free and 12 bags for about £11 from amazon) and babybels. Green tea / herbal teas.

I'm going for a run at 10 so should stop any morning snacking, although will keep a bag of scratchings on hand should they be needed.

Have a great day everyone and I hope your scales are kinder than mine!

Sheep, I'll add you.

Oh and if anyone is near a co-op, they have the black farmer sausages (1g carb per sausage if I remember correctly and gluten free) £3.50 for a pack of 10.

Good morning and thanks BIWI and Sayrra :)

I'm up since 5 am. I hadn't weighed myself in a while, and though I knew I'd put weight on it still wasn't a bunch of fun. Ah well. I can't find a measuring tape, but my favourite coat is just starting to feel too tight when I zip it up at the moment, so hopefully I can feel that fitting better soon!

My plan for today is:

Breakfast: Fried eggs, cucumber sticks and black coffee.
Lunch: Smoked salmon salad.
Dinner: Creamy chicken soup (homemade stock, cream, leftover chicken and low carb veggies).

I've got olives, cheese etc on stand by for snacks, too. I'm going to be somewhere today where I know I'll be offered tea and biscuits, but I'll just take water with me and keep busy.

Will just try and eat what i can today (mostly egg in cup) and hopefully this passes soon
I added my weight from my phone so hopefully it's saved ok. Will check on laptop later. Good luck everyone. X

Looking forward to this. Stood on the scales this am and some of the weight id lost by following my own LCHF plan has slipped back on ( how'd that happen Wink). Food order done and feeling inspired. On my phone so may not be able to add to spreadsheet until this evening
