I was a convert to lc many years ago. Lost quite a lot and managed to keep it off for about 3 years. Eventually I went back to normal eating and started running quite a lot regularly with top-up periods of lc if my weight went up. When I am lcing I can't run properly - it's like running with rubber legs through mud!

In the last few weeks I have realised that nothing fits comfortably inspite of the running - I need to lc again. But I am training for a half and really don't want to get out of condition. Anyone successfully running and training whilst doing LC?

Yes! There's a really good book that you should read, called "The Art And Science of Low Carbohydrate Performance", by Drs Volek and Phinny. They do a lot of their own, original research into low carbing, and focus on athletic performance.
