Morning all.

And so we come to our last week.

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness, to appear only one more time at our final weigh-in next Monday.

Still time to get rid of a pound or so!

Good luck all

Yay I did it and reached my goal weight of 9 stone. It took almost exactly a year to lose the baby weight since DS4 is one on Wednesday. But slow and steady wins the race.

Congratulations Stunt, that's brilliant news!

Weighed in and have lost a staggering 1.5lbs this bootcamp Blush Head has not been in the right place this time around, so I am just grateful I've not gained which is what would normally happen during periods of stress. Going to have a big push for hopefully another couple of lbs off this week.

Today's plan - bit dairy heavy
B: eggs, butter, cream
L: broccoli and stilton soup
D: roast chicken, swede, celeriac, cauli cheese

I've just worked out it's 13 weeks til I turn 30 - I want to be a stone lighter by then at the very least. I know I can do it, I just need to focus. I'm also signing up for a 10k race in eight weeks, so hopefully that will get me back on the exercising wagon too.

ChesterDrawers · 21/03/2016 08:54

Yikes - am 40 in 13 weeks not 30. Wishful thinking there!

Morning. Another kg down this week which makes 9kg since the start of Jan and 7kg on this boot camp. It's not been easy but I'm going to stick with it long term and try to get rid of the rest of this excess weight!

almost 3lb off, almost sobbed on the scales this morning ! I am back to where I was before Christmas when I had 2 weeks off and they weren't really carbtastic either, looking back it was not worth it if this is how long it takes to regain lost ground. doubly determined not to take time off over Easter and be as good as I can be on holiday, thanks stunt you are an inspiration and thanks BIWI for endless patience and advice

DH got all cocky as weight was coming off easily so he cheated a bit and overdid the drinkies, scales taught him a lesson this morning and he casually enquired about 'how do I do that fasting thing'

Report
ChesterDrawers · 21/03/2016 12:16

Well done Lex, I'm still not quite back to my pre-Christmas weight and totally agree it wasn't worth it. Worth remembering for the next big event

Well done, StuntNun! And very interesting posts at the end of last week's thread too (I've just been catching up!)

I'm down another pound, after sts last week. I'm starting to think about what will happen at the end of bc, and trying to identify the times I wobble, so that I can avoid them going into the future. I'm generally very happy eating this way, but the times I struggle are generally social situations, where I feel obligated to take that piece of cake, or that drink, or whatever. My extended family, in particular, just don't get it, and there's so much pressure. They will never stop offering, so I need to work on refusing. I need to formulate responses that sound polite, rational, but not preachy....I'm always worried about sounding like I'm judging others or something! I suppose it's as easy as "No thanks", but why do I struggle so much with those two tiny words!?

Anyway, I'm aiming for another pound off this week, but preferably two! I have lost 15 pounds in total from the start of this bc, and I feel really good, but I need to just keep on track!

My top tip for Easter eggs is to melt them down and bake something. My in-laws always go mad and get loads of eggs. I sneak away a few and make Rice Krispie buns for my work colleagues.

Hello. I have lost half a stone on this bootcamp. I am much happier with my shape though, still sneaking a feel of my newly discovered waist every so often!
Now for some exercise as well. That doesn't involved running around after a toddler.

Ps congratulations stuntnun ! We were on the feeding-at-midnight thread together in 2012 (my name was a little more caprine then) and I remember you being a font of knowledge then too Smile

wand could you donate the chocs? our local foodbank put parcels together at Easter to go out to various agencies who pass them on to families, esp those with kids

floris I know what you mean, it sounds like one is being smug doesn't it? I just say something like 'it looks lovely but no thanks, I am not hungry at the moment'

B - leftover cold sausage, slice lengthways, spread with marmite and dunked in soft boiled eggs chopped up in a cup with butter - heaven
L - lc cracker, wild boar pate, cucumber, lettuce, hm mayo, olives then rhubarb & raspberries with greek yog
have a sore throat so have been drinking the juice from the stewed rhubarb with lots of water, rhubarb so expensive can't face throwing it away!
D - will be hm cheeseburgers on lettuce wraps with asparagus

3 pounds off in the end this week , very pleased with that and now want to press on with the last week and lose 1 or 2 more if possible. And I'll be staying on this WOE for a lot longer until I shift another stone or 2!!

Thanks for all the info at the end of last week's thread, really helps - I never get time to read the books about this WOE so I'm very grateful for those who offer up their expertise and science knowledge for free!

Yesterday
B - Total Greek yogurt, dbl cream, vanilla powder and a few strawberries
L - out at pub, least worst was chicken breast with cheese and bacon but it had BBQ sauce on top (scraped it off!) swapped chips for salad. Small glass of white wine
D - courgetti with smoked salmon, sauce made from cream cheese, lemon zest and dbl cream.

Today:
B - 2 hb eggs and butter, coffee with cream
L - salad with avocado, olives and some LC coleslaw
D - will be steak and veg
S -  a few strawberries & 2 babybel

Well done, Stunt and Lex! And everyone else also Flowers

I'm back in the game for this last week - and a slight loss from last time I weighed too: being away for a month has shown me some important things (I fear my mother's scales were actually correct!) the main one of which is that dairy is absolutely not my friend. I was getting very cheesed off (see what I did there Grin?) earlier in BC when I was sticking rigidly to the rules, and putting on weight even so - now I've been away, had very, very little dairy but (despite not following the rules 100%) still lost a little. I did the shopping yesterday, and just bought some parmesan to use for fake quiches - and ate the left-over halloumi for lunch: but now it's official, I'm afraid - be gone, delicious cheesiness of my soul!

I'm back to work tomorrow, so it will be a little bit easier in terms of not prowling round the house looking for something to eat to fill the time - but I shall have to avoid the lure of colleagues trying to make me go out for cake! The disadvantage of being The Fat One is whenever someone needs to escape, they always ask you, as they know you'll never shame them for having cheesecake Grin I am practising a soulful look, though, and a sad little shake of the head, for when I reveal that dairy and I are undergoing a formal separation.

Just going to catch up with last week's thread - I can't believe it's been ten weeks already! I've been up and down through the process, but now I've got my head round it (at last!) I'm planning to carry on. I've still got another 8 stone or more to lose, but seeing everyone's successes and stories is keeping me going - thanks, guys!

I like the sound of sausage 'soldiers' and egg, need to do an ocado order to get some black farmer sausages in.
B: scrambled eggs w. Butter, ham and leftover roasted Brussels sprouts/broccoli
L: m&s pork scratchings and a boiled egg and spinach protein pot
D: roast chicken with cucumber, lettuce and the celeriac chips that I couldn't be bothered with yesterday.
2.5l down, 1l to go
