Morning all - apologies for the empty link. No idea what happened there!

Anyway, for the second time of trying here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

Hope you see good results today, and good luck for this week

Yay found it, thanks BIWI. I'm not weighing in today as DH cooked a carb-fest last night. We've been eating low carb for over two years now so you would think he would know better. Roast pork was a good start but he served it with roasties, parsnips, carrots and peas. Grrrr!

Morning BIWI delighted to report I am 10st 4 this morning, so 4.2lbs off from last week (but I suspect that was skewed by Saturday carbfest). I am wearing trousers that haven't seen the light of day for a very loooong time Grin

biwi and any plateau-breakers.

I am hoping you can remind me of what to do if plateauing.

I am sticking to rules with respect to foods, but need to up my water, I know. What else?

I thought I was replacing fat with muscle so not worried for last 3 weeks, however last night jeans test confirmed this was just wishful thinking. I have just over half a stone left to lose.

Am committed to this way of eating but really need to nail the last 10 pounds.

All suggestions appreciated.

Congrats Chester that is fab! I am half a pound down, my weight loss has definitely slowed but I am happy to have lost and like Chester I weigh less than I have in years and am fitting into clothes that have been languishing in the depths of my wardrobe for ages!

Thanks for the thread BIWI and good luck to all weighing in today.

Hello all, not posted here before but been on the bootcamp since the beginning, and low carbing since September. Have lost about a stone and a half so far and am feeling so much better for it.

Having said that, I put on a pound last week! Grrr! Not unexpected because I was working in London, which involved being taken out for meals/drinks and although I kept as low carb as I could, I definitely succumbed to too much prosecco! Because of the floods the journey back to Scotland took us two days in all, so we just found food where we could, and I certainly wasn't able to keep up the water drinking. Never mind, back on the wagon this week...

Good luck and well done to everyone else!

Thanks for the new thread BIWI - 8 weeks seem to have gone past really quickly!

I stayed the same this week, not too surprising as I think that's last weekend's carb fest catching up with me.

It's really motivating to read about everyone's losses, I'm going to be a bit more strict these last 2 weeks and hope to have a last big push before Christmas, not intending to stop low carbing over the hols but I will have nuts, 85% choc and alcohol as my treats!

Good luck everyone and thanks for keeping posting your progress and food as it does help.

Well done all losers!
I am down 3 lbs this week.

for ChristmasTurkey and anyone else interested - try making creamy mushrooms. This dish has magical properties for getting over a "stall." Just fry some mushrooms in double cream and whatever seasonings. Has worked for me in the past!

thanks for new thread, totally forgot to weight this morning as both DCs off sick, only remembered after brekkie and a 1lb on so hoping it really was STS before brek which is more than I deserve after 2-3 days of not being able to stick to it properly last week.

ChristmasTurkey - if you need to up your water, then you're not following the rules! Grin

Check you're not suffering from carb creep - it's very easy for that to happen.

You could then try a couple of really strict days where you keep your carbs as low as you can - making sure, of course, that your fat levels (and water) stay up.

Failing that, why not try ubercamp? It's a 3 day, dairy-free plan - if you look on the spreadsheet you'll find it.

Well done campers! 2 1/4 lb off for me! If I can lose 4 1/2 by Xmas then I'll have lost a stone and half this boot camp. Undoubtedly the best diet I've ever done both for weight loss and enjoying the food. Having BIWI wave her stick also adds to the enjoyment Grin runs off quickly

B - smoked salmon (waitrose Christmas one with port, wine, spices and oak smoked but still low carb, was quite nice), scr eggs,
L - lc crackerbread with pate and an avocado, dark choc, nuts
D - yesterdays oxtail stew finally with buttered savoy cabbage, stew is v rich, think I will save the rest of the shredded meat for a ragu type thingy in the freezer

Nigella, thank you so much. Huge creamy mushroom fan so not a plateau-breaker for me, but I highly recommend your suggestion as basic gorgeous lc food.

BIWI, thank you also so much. I am going hard core lc as of tomorrow morning and will aim to log all consumption for critique.

I've a feeling that I may have had carb creep through overeating vegetables Blush because I've noticed myself getting increasingly hungry the more of them I eat, if that makes sense.

Evening all, not very hungry today, so not much food but then had dreadful gym session so think my body actually needed more fuel. Lesson learnt!

B: BPC
L: 2x scrambled eggs, butter
D: chicken curry, cauli rice
S: few Brazils, square of 85%, gin and slim

Report
LexLoofah · 08/12/2015 14:48

B - coconut porridge for first time, nice, creamy and filling didn't need any sweetener. good to have on standby for those porridge type days
L - leftovers use ups: ham and broccoli soup, roasted flat mushrooms topped with cheddar and grilled
D - not sure, probably more leftovers like sausages, cheese, avocado and will do a few hard boiled eggs and mayo

tomorrow is going to be tricky as accompanying DCs on school panto trip so will be snack and treat tastic plus a very late lunch when we get back. so far I have packed pork scratchings, nuts, dark choc and will take a few lc crackers and butter and have a decent brek. Expect it will be a low water day, will have to make up for it when we get back.

oh and managed to weight this morning and down 2lb, really would like another 2lb off before Carbmas

Just put in my order for our Christmas meal, pleased to say I've picked low carb all the way. My main comes with a flatbread but I am more than happy to leave that. I've also swerved the dessert so will just have a coffee, maybe with cream if I am feeling brave about asking in front of my colleagues.

Yesterday was busy but a good day. Did share a bottle of red with DH but as I am happy to maintain my current weight for now, I'm not sweating on that too much.

Food was:
B: Buttery eggs,
L: Out and about - bag of fresh pork scratching from a stall on the Xmas market, chunk of cheese
D: slow cooker beef in stock, with shallot, mushrooms, garlic and leek, finished with several large dollops of sour cream, swede mash, roast broccoli. Was starving by this time and was amazing, but I may have eaten more than I technically needed.

Today's plan:
B: buttery cheesey eggs
L: Not sure - always struggle with lunches that are not salad or eggs
D: LC sausages, celeriac mash, probs broccoli again
