Sorry all - first day back at work and I had a horribly early start, so this is the first chance I've had to set this thread up. Blush

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

Good week for me, another 2 lb loss. Today is my first day at work after 3 months off and I really hope I'm in enough of a routine to resist all the chocolates, biscuits, cakes etc that are always knocking about.

I also need to keep an eye on the number of coffees I have and stick to lots of water.

PseudoBadger · 02/11/2015 13:02

Thanks BIWI- hope your holiday was lovely.
2lbs off, so 9 in total so far.
KOKO everyone.

thumb re: pate there's a nice sesame seed cracker recipe on the recipe thread. I had pate at the weekend on hm lc cracker bread, I got the recipe from the Real Meal Revolution book which is basically mixed seeds & psyllium husk. I am going to be careful and not have them too often as so convenient but then again a good way to get butter and pate in.Also second lettuce cups though, v nice.

STS for me, no worries will just keep on and perhaps see if I can reduce portions and skip the odd meal as close to goal so expect last 10b to be quite stubborn as been around for a long, long time

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 02/11/2015 13:23

Thanks Lex - I'll have a look at that. I have to be a bit careful with some seeds as they don't agree with me, but I'm sure I can find enough to sort something out! :)

It begins! Hello all, well done anyone who lost in week 3

My scales have run out of batteries and I'm not inclined to replace them. My goal is to fit back in to my size 14 jeans (my size 12s have been relegated to the loft but I'm ever deluded hopeful that they might once again grace my thighs)

I know two things from being a long-term LCer: 1) Dairy can stall me. 2) I get very grumpy when denied cheese, Greek yogurt and my morning tea with whole milk and after a few weeks I think Fuck It All and dive into the cake tin. So careful balance and moderation is the way forward Grin

B - 3 fried eggs and spinach
L - Bresaola salad
D - big bowl of Harissa-roasted veg (aubergine, carrots, courgette, cauliflower, broccoli) mixed with hard-boiled eggs and kalamata olives.

Also - one tea with milk, several coffees with almond milk.

Is anyone else having problems updating the spreadsheet? I can open it fine but it won't let me click in the box to type in my weight.

It was ok for me whiter
keepon you've got nothing to lose except weight so stick around and give it a try. The first couple of days are the hardest but loads of support on here. Good luck Thanks
Well done to all the losers.

1 lb off so a total of 9 this bc. Very pleased Grin
B: Ham and mayo
L: Pork curry with courgette, cauliflower and cabbage
D: Mince with shredded greens and sm portion of carrot/swede mash.

B - A made up LC pancake (egg, cream cheese, ground almonds, dash cream) with whipped cream! Yum!
L - lettuce gem leaves with avocado & mackerel
D - a sort of moussaka - mince, tomato, spring onion on top of aubergines with grated cheese & cauliflower. 1/4 Coyo.

I must say that 3 weeks ago I wouldn't have touched anything as healthy as like this but now I'm really enjoying it!

Just checking in, had a very stressful week and STS, going to try and cut dairy down a bit more.
Dinner is duck breast with either celeriac or cauli mash. Lunch was chicken breast and salad in a creamy dressing.

I have totally fallen off the wagon. Haven't weighed as I think it will be too disheartening so back to boot camp with a vengeance. Hopefully I will be able to minimise the damage. Some very good losses here to inspire

For those of you who haven't lost, or who have gained, even if you haven't cheated - don't despair! We are in the notorious week 4 - it's really common for weight loss to stop/slow (or even reverse) in weeks 3 and/or 4 (and sometimes even in week 5!).

If you know you're not cheating (are you sure?! Wink), then just keep on keeping on and things will get going again soon.

Craving sweet stuff so badly after a frankly awful day involving everything that could go wrong doing so.

Just had a licorice tea, which was sweet and helped a bit, but even so, it's not a fuckload of chocolate now, is it?

Tempted by Greek yog and cream but trying to cut down on dairy. Oh, feeling very woe is me.
