Hi, ive been following this now and on my fifth week, week 1 lost 5lbs week 2 4, week 3 1 and nothing last week or this week, But everytime I eat anything these last 2 weeks I have to fight to keep it down.

Today I had a coffee with cream for breakfast as wasnt hungry, water then for lunch had scrambled egg made with 3 eggs and some grilled tomatoes. Within 10 mins of it hitting my stomach I have been sick. Any ideas please?

Perhaps not eating enough? Too hungry when you eat?

I am not at all hungry at the moment so every mouthful is a struggle so maybe its that. The thought of any more meat or cheese is making me feel worse. This diet has been going so well its been the only thing that has got some of the weight off, I need to lose 3 stone so nearly a stone is a big thing.

Why not change what you're eating? If all you're eating is meat and cheese I'm not surprised you're feeling sick! Where is your salad? Your veg?

If you're not hungry, don't force yourself to eat.

But well done on the weight loss so far!

Thanks BIWI, I am eating a lot of veg and salad, I had a banana yesterday after my stomach calmed down and felt a lot better so I think I maybe going a bit too extreme. for dinner I had lamb chops with grilled peppers and kale.

I have upped my carbs a bit today and feel a lot better. But still the thought of any more cheese or eggs makes me feel sick!

Are you drinking lots of water? The other thing to think about is your electrolyte balance - you need sodium, magnesium and potassium. As bananas are a good source of potassium, it suggests that you might need a bit more of this if you felt better after eating one. For the same benefit without the carbs, you could try using Lo-Salt.

Sodium is one of the most important - which means salt. Cook with it and add it to your food. Consider drinking a hot drink made from Oxo or Bovril or Marmite.

Other foods to consider to help with these electrolytes are salmon, avocado, spinach and natural, full-fat yoghurt.

Thank you thats good advice, Yes I am drinking loads of water it feels like I am constantly on the loo! I must admit I don't like salt at all so that sounds like it could be the problem, I like yoghurt, avocado and salmon so will add more of those. Thank you.
