Morning campers Smile

Here's the spreadsheet

So our last two weeks. This Bootcamp seems to have gone really quickly!

Having been in carby twatland for most of the last two weeks (aka my DB/SIL's fat-free, low cal home) I'm back on track and aiming to make these next two weeks as strict as I can. My personal strategy for this BC has been not to weigh at all - but to go by my clothes. I can tell by how my gym clothes are fitting that this BC has been a good one for me (overall), and I'm not going to let the last fortnight undo all this.

Anyway, I hope those of you weighing have a good result.

I weighed yesterday as am on holiday this week and lost a pound which I'm happy with. Definitely noticing it in how my clothes feel also.

My holiday this week will be mostly self catering so should be fine apart from some meals out where I don't know what the choice will be. Looking forward to it anyway!

How everyone else gets good results today.

Morning Chickens Smile

I've sts but I have let the creep in this week so it's a well deserved warning shot!

Pomegranate and 10p boxes of Smirnoff choccies (not hoovered as they would have been pre lc but frozen, sliced and stirred into almond yoghurt Hmm net result same Sad) have sneaked onto my menu.

Pulling my socks up today.

Have a good un Grin

I am up 1.5lb which is entirely self inflicted. I think I got a bit complacent after losing so consistently so allowed a few treats to slip back in. It was a busy and sociable weekend (school reunion) so a fair bit of boozing and a cream tea that flew in the face of bootcamp rules. It's also totm and I really noticed carby cravings which I didn't resist hard enough.

I am going to be as strict as possible for the last two weeks; I want to get below the 12 and a half stone barrier by the time we finish and I will do it by hook or by crook!

I think I've stalled. Is there anything I can do about it?

STS again here but with the lack of sleep due to the baby I think that's to be expected.

User how long since you had any weight loss?

Hello there, I'm back again after 10 days in France. I managed to avoid carbs most of the time but I think the drinks and wine will have done me in. However holidays are done now, so it's back on the LC WOE for me.

I didn't get chance to weigh in this morning so will do it tomorrow. I have a feeling I've not shifted much, if anything this week (again). If the result isn't good I will post a few days of food diary in the hope that one of you lovely ladies can spot something.

Hello folks. I'm also not weighing anymore as even though I've lost very little my shape has changed quite significantly.

LCHF and low weight-high rep training seems to be a good combo for me.

I can't deny that I'd like to be under 12st but must keep telling myself that muscle weighs more than fat, right?

Today:

B - three eggs fried in butter
L - Lidl fennel salami (mega fatty and so gorgeous) and homemade peri-peri mayo
D - Roasted veg, feta and salad

S - peanut butter & greek yog devil mixture

I might ditch the dairy and go paleo-ish again at the end of the week.

Muscle doesn't weigh more than fat its more dense. A pound is a pound be it muscle fat or feathers!

Google raw suet and that will give you an idea just how fluffy fat is and what a pound of it will look like. Its somewhere around the size of a house brick! So many people think of fat as lard but its not like that when its wrapped around your organs. That's why low carbers, who lose more actual fat (as opposed to lean mass) than low fat dieters, will find that their clothes size drops a lot faster than the scales. Even if you replace some of the fat with muscle you only have to think how small a pack of fillet steak is to realise that you are going to be much sleeker whilst staying the same weight on the scales.

Weight training helps me a lot Ewan but I do high wt/low reps. I do notice a slight rise in weight for a couple of days if I overdo it though. I thinks its because your body tries to buffer the bruised muscles with extra fluid.

Just a thought Ewan but before you ditch all dairy why not try ditching the yoghurt. I was like you in that I just love thick Greek yoghurt topped off with some cream. I was very careful to weigh it out but my BG was going up and my weight was rising slowly. I tried looking back at what I was doing when I first started LC and the two plans that gave me best results, IPD and Atkins both banned yoghurt. I have kept the cream and I still eat a small amount of cheese but I ditched the yoghurt and things are all going slowly in the right direction again. For me dairy as a whole is too useful to lose the lot. Smile

I've gained 1lb this week. I'm not too worried though. I think it Premenstrual bloating. Even my fingers are feeling tight and weird. I haven't lost an enormous amount of weight. I started LCing at the beginning of April and have lost 10/11lbs. However, I feel so much better. More energy and now able to take regular exercise because of this. I feel really healthy! Which is excellent Smile.

After all my best intentions today I have eaten.
B. Two packs of pork scratching.
L. Two 85% chocolate bars.
L2. Cheese and salami with olives.
S. 85% chocolate.

I need a fridge sweep and a kick up the arse.

miffy the yogurt is indeed a likely stalling little bastard for me. I do love it so and get all petulant that I don't drink boozydrinks or eat dark choc so can't I just have a bowl of lovely cold dreamy yogurt with a swirl of PB

I'll knock it on the head...

when this tub is finished Grin

Feeling well chuffed with myself this evening. Saw GP for a medication revue. When I walked in he said, "Please tell me you are here for a revue as you look far too slim and healthy to be here for anything else!" Apart from a slight difference of opinion over statins he informed me that I should keep on doing whatever I'm doing as my bloods are better than ever (except for cholesterol!) and I have a healthy glow! Feel ready to take on the world now. To think I went in expecting a fight over low carbing!Grin

Hi folks,
I am joining you for the last two weeks, I think. Not had access to my scales for last two weeks (returning Friday) but I Blush took my tape measure. I have been pretty much on track but it is SO hot, I am washed out and have a migraine so feeling like bread just to stop the sickness. Plus, have been grazing rather than meals, so need a bit of focusSmile

That's great to hear, miffy! Did you tell him about the low carbing, or is that a battle you're reserving for another day? Grin

to Romey. Sorry to hear about the migraines. I only ever had those once, during my first pregnancy, and I've never experienced anything so horrific, so you have my every sympathy.
