Constipation whilst LCing?

What can I have? Normally Weetabix sorts me out, but that's obv not an issue? Only on day two, and haven't been since yesterday Blush

I was the same but bulletproof coffee at breakfast seems to get things back on track Wink

Hot black coffee, a spoon of coconut oil and a knob of butter and blend. I know it sounds gross. I was very skeptical but it comes out like a slightly coconutty, velvety latte. And it helps stave off the hunger pangs Wink

I am a vege low career. Will have done two weeks tomorrow. I have lost 18 pounds so far so really don't want to quit.

However I a, having trouble going to the loo too!!!!!

Is it the eggs?

Are you really constipated though? Just because you haven't been doesn't mean that you are, and you're only on day 2! Constipation is when you're having problems going, not because you haven't been.

If you are getting most of your carbs from veg/salad, and eating enough fat and drinking enough water, then you should be fine.

Bio triphala from organic india will sort you out . I also take herbal ginger tea from tiger, there's lots of other goodies in there too. A couple of soft dried figs are also good.

Be sure you are really well hydrated especially now it's hot. Apples are good for their pectin.

Linseeds ( flaxseed ) also excellent. You can soak them and chew or use the oil in capsules. H and b often have them on special offer.

I wouldn't normally recommend allopathic drugs but if you feel desperate a buscopan tablet occasionally on an evening calms the pains and helps moves things along the bus but do try the natural stuff first or your body will get too dependent on it.

Figs and apples are not low carb! They are not allowed on Bootcamp. And read the OP - she's only on day 2 so hardly in need of stuff like that.
