I have been breathing on dh all week saying do I smell of pear drops and he has dutifully said no. So I did it this morning and he looked puzzled and said actually you do. Yey, does that mean I am in ketosis? So does that meanwhat I have been ding is right and I shiuld just keep it up and if I do will I stay in ketosis.
I started sunday but slipped up on Monday at a picnic so tues and yesterday were proper low carb days.
Does that also mean I should not be hungry anymore? Last night I was ravenous so I had to eat pork scrtahings and keep distracting myself and fill up with a large pot of camomile tea.
Sorry Another quick question, Can I count my large pot of camomile tea as water? Or do I have to drink 3l of water?

Yes, you probably are in ketosis! Drink more water to keep your breath 'fresh' - but make sure you are getting enough sodium/magnesium/potassium. Which means salt in particular - cook with it/add it to your food. Good food sources are salmon, avocado, spinach and natural (full fat) yoghurt.

But if you're hungry that means you're not eating enough, and almost certainly not eating enough fat.

I never really know if tea/coffee counts as water, but I'd say that as long as you're making sure that you're getting that amount of water that's a pure as possible, you should be OK.

thats sounds good, I have been eating loads of salmon, spinach and full fat yogurt (greek), think it was more habit than hunger last night, I havenet been hungry at all today, in fact forgot about lunch till 3pm which has never ever happened in my life.
I have managed to drink 2.5l of water already today with added fruit tea so dont think it will be a problem.
Thanks, really looking forward to the bootcamp.

Think you should be discussing this with your GP not us.

Don't be silly measles! Ketosis just means that you're burning fat.
