Morning all my lovely campers!

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

and don't forget the Weight Tracker if you prefer to keep things private.

Hopefully the dreaded weeks 3 and 4 are well behind us, and we can now get on with the process of shedding more fat Grin

Here's to another good week, and I hope that the scales were kind to you this morning

I've lost nothing again. It's been three weeks now since I've lost anything, and I'm in week seven because I started early. Really beginning to despair now. I go on holiday in less than seven weeks and had really anticipated seeing a difference. I'm not sure if I will carry on.

OK, Amaxapax - list out for me what you ate/drank last week, and let me see if I can help you.

Well I weighed Saturday morning as I felt good and another lb down , was really good over the weekend, no slip ups just a couple of glasses of wine, lots of water and today weighed and have sts as lasts week.
So not recording a loss this week, 4.5 lb in total.
Good luck everyone. KOKO

Thanks for the new thread Biwi!

Amaxapax, I was stuck for quite some time from about week 6-7ish; I got things moving again by a few days of strict LC, no snacking and no nuts. I was staying at my sister so it was easier not to raid the cupboards. I lost another 6lb at the start of this BC, but seem to be stuck again.

In fact, I am 2lb up today, but I am disregarding this for a couple of reasons and will weigh again mid-week. Tape measurements also stuck again, though my aim for this BC is to lose another inch.

fauxbourdons, thanks for the note about Berocca, I do have some in my office. I am going to ditch the iron for the moment and concentrate on leafy greens etc.

Arf, I just posted in the other thread...
Anyway, stomach aches at the moment, not sure why,,,er,,, feels a bit bloated as well so jeans still not there.

Am cutting back on dairy as it might be dairy related.

BIWI, these are a couple of typical days:

B: Three hb eggs with mayo, cup of tea with a splash of milk
L: Chicken, avocado, cucumber and mayo served on spinach leaves or tuna, cauli rice, avocado and mayo on spinach leaves
D: Lamb ragu (minced lamb, pancetta, chopped tomatoes) on buttery courgetti with broccoli or steak with courgette sautéed in butter with shallots and pancetta and mashed swede or sausages, mashed swede and broccoli (I have checked the sausage carb count and they are fine)

I am avoiding dairy, so I haven't been having cheese for snacks. On Saturday I had three 15g servings of peanut butter covered in a thin layer of dark chocolate. My peanut butter is 7.4g carbs per 100g. My husband also put cheese in my scrambled eggs, but I only ate half of the eggs as was too full.

I am drinking at least four liters of water a day. Other drinks are salted caramel green tea or strawberry and raspberry fruit tea. I might have a cup or two of those in the evening. I haven't had any alcohol or berries and no nuts, with the exception of the Valentine's Day peanut butter.

Any help you can provide is very much appreciated.

Morning.

I'm 1lb down. So I'm 193lb. If someone could add for me please?

I'm not sure how, as dp made Reese cups yesterday and I had 8! They are really tiny though. But still.....

I really think it's nuts that stall me. I will not be eating them again until I reach my goal weight. Although I will eat things with almond flour in occasionally.

Yesterday
D- fish pie from the recipe thread and 1 spoonful of mushy peas.

I am 1lb up on last week (which was already a 2 week stall).

I think I need to:

  • up my water
  • be more aware of portion sizes
  • not snack AT ALL

Will try all this before cutting out dairy as I do love it. But if no difference by Friday it will have to go!

I'm down a pound which I'm very pleased about! I haven't moved for five weeks and I didn't start weighing until after the initial whoosh so it's nice to see some movement Grin Going to do three days dairy free midweek as I want to keep on going down and it always seems to help for me.

KOKO those who aren't moving- it will come.

Tartiflette I am pretty much the exact same as your post (only I went up one pound last week as well as this week). Will try upping water and see if it was just there dreaded week 3 and 4 effect. Otherwise I'll have to ditch dairy too. Booooo.

KOKO is the key motto here!

Morning all. I caved this morning and weighed. Sts at 140 despite all the fruit juice last week.

amaxapax please forgive me if I am speaking out of turn, but don't underestimate how long it takes for hormones to return to normal after something like you've been through. I am doing this not so much for weight loss but as a way of trying to get healthier after a horrible and late mc last Year. My eating and weight was all over the place for months and I have only really started feeling properly normal in the last few weeks. I have just passed due date. I think it's worth doing for health benefits although I get how unmotivating a long stall is. Thanks - it's a truly awful thing to go through.

I dreamt I ate sugar and I was so disappointed with myself! I have totally lost the urge to eat sugar let alone binge. I made frigging chocolate coated cherry flapjacks for DS way back at te start and froze a few for 'when I have stopped LCing' and they are still there! There are fairy cakes with buttercream icing in the kitchen. I bought fancy chocolate for my brother and it sat on a shelf for 2 weeks until I saw him. These things are unheard of in my life.
I'm not weighing until the weekend to make sure my wine incident has left my system.

Well done to all who have weighed and stuck to the straight and narrow. I am afraid I lost the plot at the end of last week and had some chocolate and a few glasses of wine, as I had a bad week at work coupled with a funeral on Friday. Oops. Half term this week which presents its own challenges, but Lent also starts on Wednesday, so can combine a period of contemplation with a bit of healthy eating Smile.

Thanks to BIWI and Sayra for everything. You are superstars and I am very grateful Flowers

Thanks for your kind words, DrDiva. It never occurred to me that my body might still be adjusting after my molar pregnancy, but that's probably possible.

I have probably also made things harder for myself by having a history of losing and gaining weight. I am completely on board with this way of eating for health reasons. I think that I'm just getting more impatient because I have a pair of shorts that I need to fit into in seven weeks' time, and it's not happening!

Creeping back in after a week of birthday and major-stress related twattery.
If nothing else, it reminds me (again!) how much I really cannot handle sugar as it sets off major craving cycles and emotional disruption. Not to mention self-sabotage.
I kept up the water at least, and infringements were mostly minor, but regular enough to be disasterous.
At the lowest the scale had gone back 1lb to 164...but they have gone further beyond that now....whether that's twattery or the effects of week 3& 4 remains to be seen.
Must haul myself back on straight and narrow. Any wisdom gratefully listened to - the self-sabotage is a tough one.
Creeps back off suitably self-chastened.
Well done everyone else for KOKO.

Morning Campers :)
Well done everyone for sticking in.

2lb on Blush for me.

Surprise weekend away for Valentine (Stonehenge) so weekend was tough but I managed ....well I managed until we went for a meal.
DP bought me a malibu and diet coke i'm classy so I asked for the next one to be vodka and soda. He forgot and got me another malibu and coke. I mentioned it again so the next drink was a vodka and coke....

I would like to tell you that I was really good and didn't drink the malibu, the coke....

I would like to tell you that but I can't because I drank it, and more, and more besides.

So pissed.

I did my best food wise, ham and eggs for meal, snuck a block of cheese and packet of ham from the spar into cafe at SH.
We stayed at the mess so breakfast isn't that bad sausage, bacon egg and mushroom.

Had an emergency Chinese of chicken wings and chicken cashewnuts which I regret.

Back on track today though.

And no choccies so a tiny victory.

Have a good un :)

Didn't lose anything this week despite doing my own uber camp, so thought I'd cheer myself up with a list of pros and cons of this WOE

CONS

  • technically only lost 3lb since BC started
  • still quite constipated...
  • food is a bit more expensive and on-the-hoof lunches are a bit tricky

PROS
  • have lost 8lb since I started LCing on New Year's Day
  • have lost 1.5 inches on my waist
  • had to put a new hole in my belt
  • can now fit into H&M's tiny 'size 12' jeans
  • hardly ever get hungry - can have a tsp of coconut oil each for breakfast and lunch then a big dinner (don't often do this though!)
  • food is DELICIOUS

So all in all it's looking good, I really hope I get a 'whoosh' and see the scales go down soon though!! Grin
