Evening everyone. I hope you're all ready, prepared and raring to go!

Here is the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness:

for you to enter your starting weight

Have a good look at the tabs at the bottom, as there you will find the rules, the list of allowed veg and lots of other really useful information.

I've also started the questions thread , so if you have anything you need to ask, that's the best place to ask it. The chat threads move really quickly in the first weeks, so this thread is the best place to ask your questions.

And this time around, I thought it might be useful to have a thread to post about good/interesting low carb products that you come across:

Here

Good luck!

D: Sausage omelette and salad

Biwi, do I have to log on using laptop for updating the spreadsheet or am I doing it wrong on iPhone?

BIWI · 18/01/2015 20:41

Oh er - I don't know! The lovely Sayra looks after the spreadsheet. I have no idea how it works on the iPhone I'm afraid.

Oh, don't forget, everyone, The recipe thread

It's a bit long now, so can be a bit unwieldy, but there are some fab recipes on there and it's worth having a browse just for inspiration

And if you like you can print the whole thread out - go to the bottom of the thread and you'll see a series of boxes - there's a purple one to the right, which is the print icon

I'm excited about this. Although you do not want to know what I've eaten today. Hmm

Tomorrow.

Breakfast will be eggs.
lunch will be Brie, cuecumber, salad leaves & mayo.
Dinner will be mince cooked up with leaks, mushrooms & tinned tomatoes (and some herbs/spices)

I am dreading weighing myself.

I don't currently appear on the spreadsheet. Can I add myself (and if so, how?), or must I wait for Sayra to do it?

Thank you BIWI and SayraT - keen to start, too.
Meal plan for tomorrow is
B. Sliced ham/full fat Philly rolls, coffee with cream
L something from where I'm working - prob salad with chicken or fish
D leftover coq au win with cauli mash
Herbal tea, herbal tea, herbal tea.

Have cut out bread and pasta this week but hv had the odd glass of wine (or three) and brownies as well the odd chocolate bar so know I'm going to get carb cravings/flu...
Really want to do this though so here goes.
Good luck everyone!

I'm not expecting anyone to post until tomorrow, NaturalBlonde - but I had to start the thread tonight because I have to be up and out early tomorrow morning.

Yes early just add yourself at the bottom. I posted a note on the sign up thread to say that some people weren't on list yet.

Sorry natural, don't have an iPhone, I know some people have problems with certain devices. I don't know why. If you can't update just ask me and I'll do it.

I've already sent the link for the spreadsheet to BIWI so she can start the new thread soon. If you are not on the spreadsheet just add your name into the spaces at the bottom of the list, don't try to add it in the correct alphabetical position, I will sort that later.

So Fab, theawfuldaughter, newbie and early you aren't on the spreadsheet just now but you can be added once the first week thread is up and running.

I will try to remember to do it.

^copied from the sign up thread. Apologies if you are not on sheet yet, just add yourself as above or ask me and I'll do it in the morning.

Ooh, I've been easing myself in this week and am ready to go now! Have 3 stone to lose, am bf too so not doing too hardcore but need desperately to get off the sugar. I know I'll feel better once I am.

Hello hello hello. Marking my spot for weighing in tomorrow am.
Sooo ready to get the next bc started! Just short of a month of being off the wagon (not totally but some very un bc patches) and really want to focus back down now. Damage not too bad I think, but must must get back in line now.
Short term goal: repair damage
Medium goal: get under what I finished last bc on
Long term goal: 7lbs
Just got back from weekend away and will be food shopping tomorrow so that's good. Bc breakfast is at hand (have stayed good with that and water and pretty much with starchy carbs mostly....just the sugar bane of my life has been untoward!) and I will stock back up on essentials.
Onwards and downwards!

You are, indeed, in the right place. Are you hovering over your scales, waiting for the starting gun?

All ready in this house. DH and I are having a Biggest Loser challenge over the next 3 months.

'Twas a good idea not starting this straight after New Year, BIWI, I have needed a couple of weeks to recover from the holidays and get my head in the right place. Now ready to kick ass.

Actually my NY resolution has been to get more sleep, as I think all other things such as diet, exercise, effectiveness etc all improve with the right amount of sleep.

So I'm off to bed now Smile

Weighing in first thing. Gulp.

Just marking place for tomorrow. Raring to go - we have been BC-light-ing for a couple of weeks so hoping not to get bad carb flu (been there before and really not enjoyed it!). Tomorrow:
B: scrambled egg and spinach
L: avocado & ham salad
D: chicken escalopes fried in butter with various roasted allowed veg tbc
Water water everywhere................ Have got cucumber topped with goats cheese in mind if I am desperate to eat something when the kids have their early tea, which is always a hard part of the day for me as I get so tempted to eat their leftovers.
Aiming to lose a stone by end of March. Big Thanks and thanks to BIWI & Sayra.

Agree Random, that is very hard time of day. I've tried to low carb about three times since my last proper, successful go at it, and broke at about 5.30pm on the first day, every time. Tomorrow at kids supper time I'll be on mumsnet for moral support!

Good morning everybody! I am still up, can't sleep. I might just stay up until tomorrow night and then hopefully I am back to my usual sleeping pattern. I signed up as 'GermanGirlinLondon', I then moved to Istanbul, but things didn't work out with my work and I am currently stuck in Cologne, looking for a new job overseas. My starting weight is 202lbs as of this morning and I am shocked. I started last year with 181lbs and I was down to 160lbs at the beginning of April. I really hope I get there again before summer. I wish us all best of luck. The fridge is full of low-carb ingredients for today and then I am off to buy more. I have more time at the moment as I am not working, so I can't use the lack of time as an excuse. I hope to lose a minimum of 20lbs during the ten weeks. I hope to lose 20lbs during the ten weeks.

Good luck everybody!
