Start using Mumsnet PremiumClearwater or St. Petersburg beaches?
(3 Posts)We stayed at Pass a Grille, at the southern end of St Pete’s.
Wonderfully quiet and not built up - may not be what you are looking for, but suited us perfectly
Both beaches are nice. Clearwater probably has a bit more going on centred around the beach and pier. St Pete's is a bit more spread out but the beach is big and less crowded. We stayed at the Alden Suites right on the beach. Accommodation is basic but clean and comfortable and you have a balcony facing the beach. It has 3 swimming pools and a beach bar where you can sit by fire pits at night with a cold cocktail 🍹
We are going to Florida (next year) and will be adding on 4 nights at the beach at the end to try and recover from the park walking and get some rest. We will have our 8 year old with us. Which would you recommend? Any accommodation recommendations?
