Hi, we've last minute decided to have a Florida holiday in November. We'll be travelling with our almost 3 year old (and the in laws!). We'd like to spend a few days in Orlando then travel to a nice resort with lovely beaches, safe seas and fairly quiet for relaxation, but nice restaurants. Would love somewhere with wildlife spotting opportunities. We're open to hotels or apartments if they have a private pool but would prefer nothing too big or hectic. In terms of beach resorts, we're thinking about either Anna Marie Island, Sanibel or possible Naples and the surrounds. Any suggestions as to which would best suit our toddler? Any accommodation recommendations, or must-dos with the toddler? We'll do Magic Kingdom but would also like to take her to some smaller parks, zoos etc that may be more suited to her age. Finding the choice overwhelming, and a lot of the apartments / villas we're looking at seem to have indoor pools?? Any recommendations for good travel specialists would be gratefully received too. Thank you!

The best of Florida advice I got was to go to the Dibb [[ here]] They know everything there is to know and are really friendly. We're just back from two weeks and loved it smile

We went to Sanibel. Great for wildlife but it is a five hour drive from Orlando. And the beaches are made of shells rather than sand.
There is so much to do in disneyworld plus all of the facilities of your hotel that you really struggle to fit it all in so I wouldn't personally plan further parks and zoos to do.
