My partner and I are planning a trip to Ethiopia over Christmas. Our DS will be 13 months old by then. The idea is to cover the long distances by plane, the short ones (to sites, airports etc) with taxis. For the latter we'll bring a child seat. There may be some journeys that make better sense in coaches or minibuses. Does anyone have a solution for securing an infant in a coach or minibus? Any such vehicles that I've travelled in have seat belts that only go across the lap, not across the chest as in a car, if they have seatbelts at all.
