Update in DS telling me something heartbreaking

Don't know if you remember that I posted about DS not wanting to be alone on returning from contact.

The development is that a week or so ago after much gentle encouragement he finally started to tell me which arabic words he was learning when he goes to stay with my ex.

He started by saying Daddy teaches me Arabic but I'm not supposed to tell you. I asked why he wasn't (trying to be as relaxed as possible as I have a HUGE problem with anyone telling littlemad to keep secrets from Mummy)

He said (covering his eyes with his hands), I'm not allowed to tell you Mummy.

I said Ok, no problem but do you know who taught me Arabic?

Wide eyed 'No Mummy'

Daddy and Grandma

He clearly thought the world would end if he told me what he been taught, but (and I SO proud of him for this) he screwed up every ounce of courage to tell me and when the world didn't end and he'd relaxed we practised the words and prayers together.

Do you know what, he's been so much more chilled out since then..

It rather looks like we'll be going back to Court soon (ex threatens me with it whenever he doesn't get his way) so I will be asking for a CAFCASS report again.

Thanks so much to all of you who helped me with this.

Aw your poor DS worrying. Hope things get easier for you and your DS regarding contact soon, I really feel for you both.

How great though that your DS opened up to you and no doubt will do so again in the future knowing he can trust you and nothing awful will happen.
