I am going to a festival in a couple of weeks.Ds is only with me for 2 of the days, as I did ask xh to have him the rest so I could see the bands etc.

My biggest worry is having to put up the tent on my own (as I have posted elsewhere on mnet), as well as carting all the stuff to the campsite on my own, though we are travelling light. And I can't arrange with friends to go down, as they are all going down way after ds's bedtime, as well as having their own families to deal with, which would be more stressful for me than just doing in alone.

so any tips for doing a festival on your own with a 2 1/2 yr old?

Many festivals have wheelbarrows you can hire, and some have people you can hire to take all your stuff to the camp site for you. And again, some festivals have stewards who can help put up tents.
