Can I start a thread to brag about how wonderful my DP is?!

We often spend Wednesdays together, just the two of us, while boys are with their dad. This week my ex was on lates so instead of us doing our usual, DP took me & the boys to a great adventure playground near his home (he lives a half hour drive from me), bought the boys ice cream then took us back to his & cooked the boys fishfingers, chicken dippers & chips (which he bought just for them) & cooked me a lovely steak followed by strawberries & cream. He then drove us all home to then drive all the way back to get ready for working his night shift.

We have been together 21 months now & I am still touched by these lovely little things he does & wanted to share!

He has no children of his own & really makes an effort with my boys.

Oh bless! PC.

He is lovely! Nice afternoon for it too! Did he take the dog as well?

We were going to go yesterday but put it off until today due to yesterdays heavy rain. He didn't take the dog but we went back to see her & DS2 helped DP feed her.

Bet that made DS2 day feeding her!

I am so pleased for you. You are very lucky. Was Ds2 ok in the end, yesterday's feeling rough ended in nothing?

DS2 seems fine today although he did briefly complain that his ear hurt so will keep an eye. He seemed ok for most of yesterday too so I put his tummy ache complaints down to wind!

We took the boys out on Monday too. We went to Costa where we had a coffee & DP bought the boys a sanwich & a drink, then we took them to the park before driving to his parents for dinner. His dad had started building a bonfire as DS2 was keen for one, but couldn't light it due to the weather. Hopefully next time!

Just waiting for a court date now. Phoned my solicitor last week to chase it up a bit. Just a waiting game now - will be glad when it's all done & dusted.

He is lovely. I am ill with a throat infection right now & he looked after me really well at the weekend & has just dropped round with painkillers, Strepsils & throat spray that he picked up for me today, bless him!
