In a past life I was a dedicated follower of the NME and Melody maker - but isnce having to grow up my music tastes are tragicly stuck in the mid 90s- early 2000's indie rock, with a health dose of cheese and dodgy retro stuff!

I am a member of a gym but apparantly you dont get fit just by having the card in your wallet- you actually have to go in??!! wierd huh!

I would like to meet any slightly geeky people who are into star wars, films, bad music and jelly beans.

Thought I should add some more; so,

I am occaupational therapist (its OK i'm not sure what one is either

I have a little boy who is 3 who I share my love of star wars and jelly beans with! Our favorite dinosaurs are ankylosaurus and Parasaurolophus. I love going to the aquarium and we have season tickets to go whenever we like.

I work full time and on the weekends I like to go to the cinema, the park and places like Crealy where my boy laughs at me for screaming my head off on the pirate ship! SO, as you can see I need some adult enertainment to save me from having to play power rangers and transformers akk the time - NOT THAT KIND of adult entertainment! (well maybe that kind too..)

I'm on here to look for new friends, may be a date or 2 with the right person, and if that led to a longer term thing that would be great. I also enjoy perving at pictures of hot guys in uniform, well acually just guys in general!

The only thing I ask for is honesty .
If I'm not your type physically thats fine! just dont feel you have to be rude about it because it just makes you look like arse.

So, what do you think - would you date me!!!

its the ankylosaurus thing. It would clash with my T.Rex obsession.....
Was kidding. Really. You sound lovely and utterly sane. Men often don't know what's good for them. Just don't despair. Your man is somewhere around.

look like arse, an arse? Is occupational spelt right? Other than that great

weird is also spelt weird

I'd date you! I'm obsessed with 90s/the odd bit now and then of indie music too

the only other thing is you sound like a very busy person. Is there a dad to ds around at all? Do you have him 24/7? I think that could slightly put off any prospective child-free interests.

From experience, your thing about perving on uniform people means you will probably get a lot of dirty/semi offensive responses...

oooh I'm not saying that you having him 24/7 will put off interests, just that it sounds like you have no alone time at all and come as a very full time package... does that make sense?

ah yes zippi - if it's a dating profile, drop the bit about uniforms. As potentially sexy as they may be, a prospective amori will def. get the wrong impression.

i wouldn't give so much away. it's great to be upbeat and funny tho, but i would prob shorten it, and say what you have to offer more, and a little more of what you expect/accept.
