Wasn't bothered, then I saw my beloved kitchen. I endured an extra few months with xp to get that finished (his mate was doing it for me). And they've ruined it by putting magnolia bloody paint on it. The light blue I had looked perfect witht he gloss white units.

ANd that's bloody £500 worth of sink & taps in there!!!!

The bastards have changed my fucking flooring in the kitchen too. I had fucking slate effect lino down. Fucking expensive shit, with a bloody 25 year guarantee. If I'd known the cunt was gonna rip that out I'd have bought it with me. I'm bloody mad about that.

It is never a good idea to go back and revisit - RL or on net - an old home. It will always have been ruined.

I had to move. I was on benefits, and HB don't pay mortgages, so had to sell up and go back to renting. TBH, if xp and I hadn't split, we'd have had to sell anyway to stop it being repossessed as he was pissing all of our money up the wall. (2wks of his wages covered the mortgage, My wages & tax credits covered the other bills, so we should have had £600 of his wages per month, plus about £200 a week in tips from my job in disposable income, but we were struggling to pay any bills whatsoever cos he was a nob)

I lost £37K on that house. That's the worst bit about it.

You will get another house. It just may take time. I used to look longingly at an apartment I had when married but I now have something I prefer. Agree about the magnolia in the kitchen.
