Hi there, I'm not a single mum, but my dh works overseas for 3 months at a time so i sure feel like one for a large part of the year. I have a 6 yr old and a 10 month old, and i say on a regular basis that " i don't know how single mums cope". At least i have dh coming home at some point. All credit to you.

welcome to the world that is MN - but I warn you it's highly addictive, and within a week you'll have no clean clothes the kids running amock, and dinner will be from the local take away!

lol - ah well take it up a notch then and you'll be close!

MN is fab for a night - always someone to talk to - esp if you venture to the chat boards of every now and again there's a juicy sex one on the relationships - 9any one remember the pirate sex one?? lol)

Mn is a fab place to laugh together share advice, cry together, but most of all hang out with your online mates. they also have meet ups all over the place.

hiya kara welcome as well to the mad house!

WElcome to mn and to this board in partic Rain. yes, it's better than tv, I've been addicted for nearly a year now. I used to watch tv and read books.

PS Rain, reading the relationships board and the AIBU board is good for me, as it makes me quite content to be single....
