who live in and around Canterbury looking for other single parents to be friends with.

I have been on my own for 3 months with my dc's 4 and 1. Although I have lots of friends who are married or in relationships, I don't have any single parents friends.

I am not really into mother and toddler groups and besides I couldn't sit in a room full of happily marrieds as I would more than likely cry!

Have you put a post up in your local bit? You might have more luck meeting other local single mums through that.
