(3 Posts)How stressful is it going to be?
Me and ex have been separated for nearly a year... when we hit 2 years we can start divorce proceedings. We have 2 children. One who's 6 months and the other is 3. We have private cm and childcare agreements. We don't have any debts or assists in joint names, no house to spilt
He's got a history of emotional and finical abuse towards me, constantly threatening childcare when he falls out with me.
What does divorcing involve? My friend sent me into panic saying that he will have to agree with solicitors childcare and then his might disrupt what we have now?
I'm really worried. I was hoping it would just be straight forward
I suppose my question is... when divorcing does childcare/cm need to be formally agreed in writing or not? I'm super anxious about it
If you have agreed child maintenance. Contact and division of assets. Then the divorce is just a formality. You could probably just do it yourself. Send papers to court for signing.
