Contact centre + Coronavirus

What exactly is going to happen?? I personally don’t want my young dc going to the contact centre and either catching Coronavirus or being a spreader as kids seem to be. I’d much rather we isolated, we’ve already stopped attending our local playgroups etc. Contact at the centre is court ordered and it’s not safe for dc to go to their dad’s house and I obviously don’t want them going to other public places as it defeats the purpose of self isolating. What happens??

I wish I had some good advice but I don't. The lack of clear guidelines is making situations like this very hard. I'm wrestling with the same as my DD has court ordered contact with her Dad, who lives > 60 miles away. I live with my elderly parents... (> 70). I don't want it brought back, don't want to impact contact. Just don't know what to do.

It’s such a stressful situation! You’re right the lack of government guidelines make it so difficult. Thanks for bumping

Until the centre is closed you are required to maintain contact. If you choose not to because you believe your dc will be safer not attending then you will have to have a very good reason and proof that you self isolated throughout.

This is going to be huge reason why some Rp's will use to prevent contact and not follow court orders so be careful.
