Just that really, all getting on top of me DD not settling in well at school, late to work everyday, bedtimes becoming a nightmare, EXH not responding to emails re maintenance.

Anybody else want to vent and make themselves (and me) feel a little better?

You needWine! lots of it! My children think I'm their slave and taxi service, I've just spent my day off cleaning toilets and doing laundry, I can't seem to stop scoffing food, house is a pigsty five minutes after I tidy it and I just stubbed my toe. Grrrr!!! You are not alone!!

My children are only little but without going into details I think I’m going to be parenting them alone. They’re close in age and one has ongoing health problems so the future doesn’t exactly look bright right now but we’ll get there Wine

waves I’m frazzled beyond belief too - work plus settling DS into reception and money, also eating everything in sight. Not on top of any life admin. Having a glass of red and a delivery McDonalds in front of shit telly and feel like, is this it?!

OP, take the CM out of the equation and go via CMS.

Kids do take a while settling in. My DC took ages, but they also went to scouts and they settled in there quickly and it made school more bareable until they got into their stride.

There will always be something to worry about, the weight on a lone parents shoulders about the responsibility of parenting a child feels like it is way more than twice than when shared with the other parent.

I don’t bother trying to shorten the list of things that need doing, I count it as a major win if the list doesn’t grow.

Good luck, look after yourself as looking after yourself is looking after the person that’s looking after your DCs, so you are just as precious as they are.
