Does anyone use either of these online co parenting softwares to communicate with your ex? How do you find it? Was it court ordered or mutually agreed? Does it help?

My OH has an extremely bitter ex who won’t communicate.

It’s court ordered that all communication is via email and each party should respond within 4 days. If no response is received the requ st is automatically accepted.

Personally I think parents should be able to communicate with each other in a polite and timely manner.

I have a friend who was court ordered to use OurFamilyWizard with her ex. She was court ordered, but a court order is not required to use it. I’m thinking of doing something similar and wanted her opinion, and she said she likes the app for how it keeps communication about her children and how it makes it easy to share info about the children’s schedule, details about trips to the doctor, general info like blood type and allergies, etc.

I read that they have a program that can help cover the cost of the subscription if you’re struggling financially. My friend also said that she can have her mediator work with her directly through the app. I think that on 2 Houses, your mediator can’t interact with you in the app or help you set up things like your calendar.

God, what’s the world coming to? Two people are intimate enough to have a child and then can’t communicate with each other about the child without an app or software? You should both be adults and be able to communicate.

My OH’s EW is a pain in the arse. Won’t communicate, makes everything difficult. Even a judge told her to start communicating.

It’s not about scoring pints, it’s about what’s best for the kids and that’s 2 adults who can respect each other, be civil and communicate. Your children will thank you for it.

I'm not familiar with those but have used a shared calendar app in the past with ex, that was useful!
