Holiday, anyone up for this?

Ok, so I know there are holiday companies that do special single parent trips, but the thought of being forced together for meals and activities fills me with dread! I actually think I'd like to book a nice all inclusive place in the sun and during the days will be completely happy just me and the DCs. But on a night I think I'll miss adult company when the DCs go off and make friends etc so wondered if anyone else felt the same? Maybe a few of us could book the same place and at least we'd know we weren't the only singletons there, even if we never even spoke? And there'd be no forced fun or friendship just a bit of reassurance that it's quite ok to be on holiday just with kids! Just a thought, maybe ridiculous!!

Hi,
I would be interested potentially. I have been looking at holidays for DS and I who is nearly one, but would definitely value some company. The single parent firms who offer trips are often ludicrously expensive and could be organised for much cheaper.

Do send me a message if you want to discuss!

Put me down too. 7year old DD. I think the specialist companies look over priced too. I've also been looking at all inclusive and held back for the same reason of it being boring in the evening (also seeing lots of happy "intact" families)
