Splitting the house

Hi,

Apologies if this isn't the right place, could someone point me in the right direction if not?

I'm going through a separation with ex, we're not married, have 2 kids 5 and 2 and a joint mortgage. I've had conflicting legal advice as to whether I should be allowed a higher percentage of the house when it sells as I only work part-time, anyone got any knowledge?

I've still got different solicitors telling me different things! So if it comes to it I'll go with the one who is sure I'll get more than 50%..
