Ds 8 had Friday off too, sch broke up early.
He's had entertainment of trampolining, play dates and friends........ But mum is v v lonely and bored of just doing chores whilst he's playingSad-
I'm not an online gamer (candy crush) etc - I read my books but can't get into anything ATM -
The weather is crappy, we ve walked the dogs etc

Me! I booked the week off work presuming the kids (ds11 dd12) would want to spend some time doing things with me but, no!

I've had a 2 hour bath and been to Tesco today. I might paint the kitchen tomorrow.

I am very unmotivated. Dc1 is revising. DC 2 & 3 are out the front playing in the cul de sac. Dc4 is playing in the garden. I need to clean and declutter my kitchen but I can't be arsed and can't motivate myself.

Yep, me too.

Was planning to go out today but ds2 woke up wheezing so a tv day today, means they're bored and jumping all over me/the furniture by lunchtime though
Need a dog, just a reason to go on a wonder in the sunshine

Have spent the entire week "sorting" the house out! Two bored to death kids, and I am just ready for Monday now!! Couldn't even play in the garden the weather was that bad. Got the paints out one day, the cat ended up covered then ran it through the house! All in all, it's been pretty shit, looking forward to some adult conversation on Monday! Ha!

I've found this week extremely hard, and sorry to say I'm glad it's coming to an end.
Luckily we've had good weather here so have mainly been out in the garden, but have made cakes/ salt dough shapes, got the good old jigsaws etc out to play. It really is hard to keep the kids entertained without going stir crazy x
