I text my mum, even though she's 2 counties away. to be fair, she does text me later if I don't let her know I'm home safely.

I run and I don't tell anyone where I'm going, apart from the night I go to running club. I sometimes take my phone and some cash and pretty much stick to busy areas, so should be ok. I go by the assumption that I'd be able to outrun a serial killer .
