(5 Posts)I have been a single mum since the day before finding out I was expecting, I gave the option to my child's father to have whatever involvement he wanted. He chose none.
When my dd was 2 I met someone, she met him 10 months later. We have now been together 3 years but don't live together.
How do other single parents deal with sex when there isn't really much alone time?
We manage quite a bit of sofa sex but not really any in bed as dd tends to wander in
Ŵe put a sliding bolt lock at the top of the bedroom door, so that if any of the kids tries to come in...they can't, but we would know they were there if they needed us.

I have it when DS is in bed. He has a stairgate on his room though and he's 2. So bedtime around 7-8 and the evening is mine
3.5 year old here. Close her door once she is asleep and until dp goes home lock on my door if we are in there.
So far hasnt been an issue she hasn't woken yet
