feeling lonely

Hey i just need to get this out, im feeling so bloody lonely at the moment. Ex left 9 months ago .
Im ok being alone, i enjoy my own company, but it gets to bedtime and i lie there feeling lonely, and really sad.

I haven't told anyone how i feel, they all think that im ok. I feel ashamed about it but i know i shouldn't.

Sorry this is a crap and jumbled post. But i do feel a bit better for just getting it out!

Poor you - sending big hug. You're definitely not the only one though. And it's all still very new for you. It does get much easier with time - really. No reason at all to feel ashamed. For the first 2 years after my ex left, the minute my DD was in bed, I just lay on the sofa and wept. Fridays are always the worst as you just manage to get through the week and then collapse...

I think its excellent you even admitted it to yourself let alone share with others. Loneliness can be terrible but stay strong

Thanks for the hug i really need it. I know im not the only one to feel like this is, and that it will get easier, its just hard to see it after another long night feeling this way.

I've got family really close by, and i do an activity twice a week with some really great people, alot of my old friends have disappeared!

Im trying to sort something else out to keep me occupied in the evenings, that isn't bloody housework!
Dc are 5 and 2.

Im ok in the daytime, but when the kids are in bed, it gets so lonely.
