My dad is coming for just Christmas day. Other than that it will just be me and DD (16mo). Going to a friends for NYE and looking forward to that, but now DD is more aware of the festive season I want to do lots of Christmas-sey things, but it seems a bit, er, odd with just two of us...if that makes sense?

Winter woodland walk or christmas baking, invite people round, relax and enjoy the peace?

There is a church at the end of the road.. Bit out of touch with when the services are. Am I right in thinking Christmas Eve?

yep Christmas eve but the morning christmas day service in most churches is normally very kid friendly. It kind of sets up our Christmas day!

I have a 21mo and planning on giving her (amongst other things) a big box full of balloons. Maybe give her some pressies that you can both enjoy together? If there's money in the kitty, a present from her to you too!
