Play therapy has come to an end...:-(

Some of you may be familiar with my previous two posts.
My dd who is now 7 has been in play therapy for a year now.

Today was her last session. She seems fine, abit upset but relieved that we no longer have the long trek to go and see the therapist.

My dd wanted me to see some of the pictures she had made during the course of the therapy.
One picture she had drawn really unnerved me and left me wanting to cry my eyes out was a picture of a monster that she would often see in her dreams with a speech bubble, saying "you will never see your mum again".

OMG my poor poor baby.
This was something which really worried her and she was all alone in dealing with this.

I feel so so sad...:-((

You sound like a lovely Mum ... lovely that you have helped her with play therapy to get over whatever the issues are, and she clearly trusts you as she wanted you to see the pictures.

If it's come to an end, I'm guessing the therapists feel that the job is done and that she is recovering.
