Lockdown learning

Geeky(or knowledgable)parents - what off curriculum learning have you done with dc?

We’ve done some astronomy stuff. Looked at stars and constellation and found out about star link satellites.
Gone through some coding projects and did some science experiments involving bubbles and learnt some stuff about plants guided by a Crest project.

Are there any resources you can recommend?
Ideally, I’m looking mostly for things the dc can just get on with by themselves though I don’t mind spending some time.

I've been putting on some of these sign language videos if that counts?

Ive come across a book and a course that teachers children to be financially smart that is actually really good. My dd has been lapping up it up which I never thought would happen. Quite cool really

You could try TinkerCAD for 3d design. My DS really likes it and he's geeky. (Don't know much about it personally, though.)

Check out Warwick's recommendations with suggestions by the Manufacturing groups and various Maths/Science topics: warwick.ac.uk/about/community/projects/educationresources

Cambridge Uni Astronomy have an amazing set of lectures on YouTube that my kids adore so far, really mind blowing stuff. I ought to leave them to it and get on but actually it is fascinating and I end up on the sofa too..
