I'm a second year PhD student at the University of Leeds, and my research looks at Pakistani women's participation in employment, in Leeds and Kirklees. The aim of the project is to look at how the two areas differ, and if anything can be improved, policy-wise, for Pakistani women who wish to participate in employment.
I've now run a few group interviews in Leeds and Huddersfield, but would really like to speak to some more women who live in Kirklees. Speficically, participants need to be: of working age; and Pakistani or British Pakistani. You don't need to be in employment, or even want to be in employment, your views would still be interesting! If you're interested, you would need to be willing to take part in an informal interview, lasting no more than an hour. I would be happy to do this via Skype, or even just via email if that's easier.
If you're able to help, or even if you're able to put me in touch with someone who may be able to help, please could you email me at: D.Payne@leeds.ac.uk.
