We are a fun loving family of 5 based in Teddington, seeking a part-time sole charge nanny from April onwards to look after our three little ones (Boy aged 4, Girl aged 2 and baby girl 4 months).

Our current nanny is expecting twins so we are looking for someone new to join our us on a long term basis.

I’m an independent HR consultant and have just returned to work last month, part-time, two days per week but am looking to increase to three days later this year so will need someone who has flexibility to increase their hours. The hours are 8am till 6pm, 2/3 days a week Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. We would also like availability for some babysitting in the evenings from time to time so the role would potentially suit someone local to the Teddington area.

Our son attends Sacred Heart nursery 5 mornings a week from 9-12pm so you would be looking after the two girls during the day and all three first thing in the morning and from pre-school pick-up onwards. This will change from September when he starts primary school and our eldest girl will go to nursery 2 mornings a week.

As the nursery school is over a mile away, a confident driver is essential with use your own car (or ours) with mileage paid.

Duties to include:
•Supporting the children to get dressed and ready for the day
•Drop off and pick up from school/nursery
•Caring for our baby
•Weekly activity planning inc. meal planning
•Cooking and preparation of the children’s lunch and evening meal
•Everyday general tidying

What we are looking for:
Ideally you should be energetic, happy to get involved in all aspects of family life, competent to handle 3 children including a young baby and join in all the fun and frolics of a large family. We would love to find someone who is warm, and caring, can offer cuddles and support or be firm but fair as required. Experience of looking after multiple young children, including babies is also essential.

The ideal candidate should:
•Genuinely care for young children
•Be motivated to help our little one’s reach key milestones
•Have very good/excellent command of English
•Have first aid training
•DBS checked
•Strictly a Non smoker
•Have no travel restrictions or special Visas required
•Have at least 3 good UK checkable references from previous families
•Have a Clean UK drivers’ license
•Be looking for a long term stable commitment to one family

The salary is £10 - £12 per hour net depending on experience.

If you are able to commit long term and the position sounds right for you, please apply with a covering letter introducing yourself, along with your current CV and contact number to rebecca.l.andrews@hotmail.com.

We look forward to hearing from you.

PS: No agencies please!

Hi Rebecca, are you on FB? There's a group on there called the TW Nanny Network you could send an ad to. Also the TW11 Mums group (you've prob already thought of that if you're a member - if not one of your local friends probably is and could post for you.)

Thanks Katherine, I actually pm'd one of the TW Nanny Network administrators earlier in the week about posting the ad there. Will definitely put on TW11 mum's group which I'm a member of. Just need to get myself organised :-)
