Farehammum1979, would you be interested in being a Local Ambassador for Fareham? (there's a shiney white card in it for you) grin

Hi, so sorry for massive long delay! Don't get notifications on here.

I would still be up for meeting if you are - maybe message me on the normal page - my name is the same.

I live near all you guys too. Near shops, towards the train station. I have a 18month old little girl and would love to meet other mummy's.

Hi mummies,
I have just registered with this site and came across this thread. I'm mum to two boys aged 3 and 8 months and I live off highlands road. Very near the shops. I'm up for a meet up :-) xx

hello, I'm a mother of a 2 years old boy, living in Fareham area. I am not a native English speaker (I moved here from another EU country), so if it's not a problem for you, would love to meet up with mums for a little chit chat or coffee or some company.

Hi, I'm a mother of two girls. One of 6 yrs and 2 yrs old, living in the Titchfield area and would love to meet up with mums with children of similar age. Play for the kids and coffee for the mums would be great. Look forward to hearing from you. x

Oh that's fab!! DS class teacher is an absolute gem and he loves her!

Bunch Mon 09-Jan-12 10:10:09

Yes at the juniors! Let's hope it's the same class and as you say, they can help each other!

youarekidding Sat 07-Jan-12 10:34:36

At the juniors? My DS best friend is moving this month and he's devastated. sad It would be great to get the boys together as DS will be lonely without his mate and so will be in the same boat a little. Although DS obviously knows the other children by this age they've paired off and he's losing his. Hopefully DS can help your DS settle in - and maybe they'll discover a new friendship. grin

I wonder maybe if they'll even be in the same class as I suspect your DS will get DS friend's place!

Bunch Fri 06-Jan-12 08:55:45

My Ds will be starting at OL! It's a small world! We obviously need to meet up! My dc are quite nervous about changing schools, I feel really mean making them do it. But I've heard good things about OL so I'm happy!

youarekidding Fri 06-Jan-12 06:52:38

I have a DS 7 too grin

He goes to OL Juniors (year 3).

It will be nice to meet someone with a boy DS' age nearby as all my friends have girls - poor DS grin

Bunch Thu 05-Jan-12 22:15:39

I know where you mean. How old are your dc? I have dd 11 and ds 7. I won't be too far from the shops either! And I don't live all that far away now, only about 6 miles down the dreaded A32!

youarekidding Thu 05-Jan-12 19:04:39

Very near the shops! About 300m away down the road towards Fareham train station. (as much as I can say without giving myself away too much!)

Where abouts are you looking to move to? What schools you looking at? My DS goes to the local juniors (catchment for my road) and I really rate the school.

If you are down viewing at any time we could meet and I could give you the low down if you like?

Bunch Thu 05-Jan-12 09:00:42

Hello youarekidding, thanks for the link, I'm on to it. Whereabouts do you live then?

Bunch Tue 03-Jan-12 21:52:36

How can I find out about the meet ups? I'm a bit new to all this!

MrsSnaplegs Tue 03-Jan-12 21:47:25

There are a few on the local site who meet up - I work in day so normally miss the meet ups

Bunch Tue 03-Jan-12 21:40:25

Well if anyone is looking for a new friend, let me know!

5ofus Tue 03-Jan-12 21:38:43

I haven't but others probably have.

Bunch Tue 03-Jan-12 21:21:05

Excellent! Do you meet up at all?
