Galore Park specialises in preparation for 11+ and 13+ Common Entrance exams and leads the market in textbooks for pupils studying at independent schools.

Our Key Stage 2 and 3 textbooks and revision resources are rigorously checked by teachers and examiners before going to press, with most titles endorsed by the Independent Schools Examination Board (ISEB). We are also proud to be the exclusive distributor of ISEB Common Entrance exam papers, which provide the best possible preparation for Independent School Entrance exams at 11+ and 13+, as well as for Scholarship exams.

Our brand-new 11+ and Pre-Test revision and practice range has just launched, written for Independent School Entrance exams, including CEM, GL and ISEB. We’ve worked with 11+ tutors, independent school teachers, test writers and specialist authors to create the series, covering English, Mathematics, Science, Verbal Reasoning (VR) and Non-Verbal Reasoning (NVR).

Our books can be used in three steps to help achieve examination success. Children start with a revision and study guide where they can solidify subject knowledge, before progressing on to workbooks to become familiar with the types of questions they’ll face in the exam. Finally, they can complete timed practice papers to boost exam confidence.

To celebrate the launch of our new range, we’re giving one lucky reader three of our 11+ resources (selected by them from revision guides, practice papers and workbooks for Maths, Science, English, VR and NVR). These books will develop children’s 11+ skills for both 11+ and Pre-Tests.

To enter the competition, answer this question taken from our 11+ VR Workbook (for ages 9-11). Which is the correct word needed to complete this sentence?

The girls could not make a __ about what to wear to the party.
