ISI judges Babington House excellent in all areas(1 Post)
Babington House School has recently received a glowing report from the Independent Schools Inspectorate. Here's their statement on this fantastic achievement.
Babington House: Excellent Education
At Babington House, “pupils throughout the school display excellent attitudes to learning that are evident in all that they do, and an atmosphere of happy endeavour permeates school life”, independent school inspectors find.
In November 2016, Babington House School had an Educational Quality and Compliance Inspection by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI).
The school received the highest grade possible in all categories and across every age group which, under the new Inspection Framework, is described as 'Excellent'. This is very rare indeed particularly for an all through school from 3 to 18 years. Babington could not have done better and such a result from a more robust inspection framework is a remarkable achievement for the school community. The report makes very positive reading and can be found on the school website www.babingtonhouse.com.
Quality of the pupils’ academic and other achievements – Excellent
Quality of the pupils’ personal development – Excellent
“Pupils are confident, independent learners and thinkers with high personal values and an awareness of their responsibilities in the outside world, fully reflecting the school’s aims. They contribute fully to the happy, relaxed and close-knit community.”
Headmaster, Mr Tim Lello says “I am immensely proud to lead such a vibrant community. Babington House is an excellent school in every way. The boys and girls receive a first class education in a supportive and academic environment.”
Come and see for yourself, our next Open Morning is on Saturday, 11th March from 9am. Alternatively, contact Mrs Lee, Admissions Registrar, to book an appointment to come and meet the Headmaster for a personal tour of the school. Tel: 020 8467 5537.
The ISI inspection system
The Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) is the body approved by the Department for Education for the purpose of inspecting schools belonging to Independent Schools Council (ISC) Associations and reporting on compliance with independent school regulations. ISI inspections are also carried out under arrangements of the ISC Associations for the maintenance and improvement of the quality of their membership.
