The City of London Academy (Southwark) is an inspirational, ambitious, inclusive and happy learning community and part of the prestigious City of London family of schools through our sponsor the Corporation of London. We have been incredibly successful in raising attainment and achievement for our community consistently boasting academic results which are significantly above national averages. Last year, our 5 A*- C GCSE including English and Mathematics rose to 76% compared with a likely national figure of around 57%. We also have 100% pass rate at A Level with 98% progressing to their first choice of university.
If you would like your child to join us, but are concerned about being outside catchment, then you could apply through our Business and Enterprise Specialism.
The application consists of an online assessment on Saturday, 8th October 2016. Students do not have to prepare for their test as it is designed to assess aptitude in Information Technology, Business and Enterprise. The deadline for submission of the application form is 29th September 2016 and the results of the test will be available on the 31st October, 2016.
Once your application has been received, you will be allocated a time to attend the Academy for your child’s assessment.
