I'm recommending these Art Workshops for Kids (full details below) as not only will they be great fun but this is a test year by the university to see if there is a need for these kind of events in Lancaster. I really think there is and if these workshops are a success then there will be more next year - not only in art but theatre and music as well - for a much wider age-range of children. smile

check the Nuffield Theatre website for further details

Three fun and creative workshops taking place with a variety of local artists aimed at slightly differing age ranges.

All workshops are £5 per child per workshop and this includes a juice and biscuit break. The Great Hall cafe-bar will be open, serving hot drinks and snacks for parents wanting to stay on site for the duration of the workshop and perhaps catch up on the newspapers. The Land Art for Kids workshop is for children and adults with free attendance for adults accompanied by a responsible child!
