Kent teachers we need your help!

Help us to develop an education programme that supports you as teachers!

The Huguenot Museum is a brand new museum opening in Rochester, Kent in 2015. We aim to provide an exciting new education service for schools, located in the heart of Rochester’s historic high street.

The Huguenots were French refugees who came over to England in the 1500s and 1600s because of religious persecution in France. Many Huguenots were skilled in crafts such as weaving, goldsmithing, furniture making and watchmaking. Others had an array of trades and specialisms including botany, medicine, teaching and banking.

The museum will use these stories as a backdrop to our learning programme. Our aim is to develop a learning programme which supports you as teachers and meets your requirements. To help us to do this please spend 5 minutes answering our short survey about education at the museum.

Feel free to circulate to any other teachers or supporting staff who may be interested in helping us.

I hope you all had a restful half term! :D

Many thanks

Amy at the Huguenot Museum
