Hi all, We are a London family seriously considering escaping the smog in London and making the move to the beautiful Kent Wealds area, but can?t decide between Seven Oaks, Tonbridge or Tunbridge Wells and their surrounding villages. We have two girls, 9 and 5 years old, and an 18 month old boy, so we would be grateful for some advice on the best primary and secondary schools in each area (nearer the time we are hoping to enter our 9 year old in the Kent 11+ exams!) Our son would also benefit from some nursery time as well. We are worried about moving to the right catchment areas, as it would be crazy to make the move only to find we moved to the wrong street or village for these schools. Be great to know about the extra-curricular opportunities in these areas as the girls would like to be able to continue with their ballet, tap and piano lessons. Also can anyone recommend good tutors for Maths and English KS1 and KS2? How reliable is the public transport (ie buses) to and from the town centres from the surrounding villages, and across town. Finally what do you love about living in these areas (family friendly?) and don?t like about them? Thank you for reading; it?s a scary decision, grateful for some honest guidance !
