Nanny needed(1 Post)
We are looking for a kind, loving, and thoughtful nanny; preferably with experience of twin babies and toddlers for our 8-week old twins and 3-year-old daughter. Our daughter is at a nursery school between 9 and 5 during the week.
Here’s an explanation of the duties of the position and our requirements. If you feel it’s a good fit for you, do please contact us to interview. Thank you!
We would like you to come in for about 8 hours a day, including the evening. We’re happy to be flexible about the hours for the first few months, but we would like you to come in for at least 3 hours covering the early evening.
1)Helping with the supper and bedtime routine for our twins and daughter
2)Following our parenting routine for our children.
3)Preparing and feeding simple nutritious meals.
4)Providing structured naps and play time.
5)Visiting local children's centres or the nearby parks when weather permits (all locations are within short walking distance of our home)
6)Educational and other developmental games and play - this also means staying abreast of the appropriate developmental milestones and planning appropriate activities.
7)No cleaning is required, but we do expect you to tidy up after each activity. Our daughter tidies away her own toys and games.
8)Most importantly: being kind, patient, and loving to our very sweet and incredibly happy children.
We are looking for someone who:
•Must have experience with children in similar age groups, and preferably with twins.
•Must speak English fluently.
•Must have references from former employers
•Must be both OFSTED registered and trained in first-aid (or willing to become so).
•A qualification or demonstrable interest in child education and development would be preferred.
We are a non-smoking family, without a television, and we would prefer an experienced nanny who can offer one-on-one attention for our children when we are unable to.
If you are interested and fit these criteria, please get in touch with your resume and references as soon as possible.
