I am looking for some help on good childcare in the northwood area, I am open to both nurseries and childminders. This is for my one year old daughter and I need it full time from monday to Friday.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi adiach,
The talk board has just been imported into our NEW Hillingdon website - and your thread is one of the first to go live on the new site!

We're gathering childcare (and other) listings in Hillingdon, so watch this space. We'll also post your question on Twitter and Facebook. Spread the word to other mums that we're live and wanting local mums to join the conversation.

Just had a recommendation on Twitter from @KineticMCD for childcare in Northwood: Asquiths Nursery in Hatch End. Anyone else care to share their views?

@KineticMCD says about Asquiths (on Twitter): lovely staff, flexible, great learning facilities & they record everything your child does which is lovely 2 look back on. Perfect prep right thru to pre-school & then reception...

I know Mount Vernon Nursery (Bright Horizons) very well, having had DS there from 6 months to going to school. A lot of the other parents at school had children there too, and several had theirs at Teddies in Riverside. Both seem to turn out very social children and encourage all sorts of learning, but they're not the cheapest childcare.
