Hello Local Mumsnetters!

Do you have children that will need a primary or secondary place in the coming years? Those that do need your help!

Pupils, parents, perspective parents & staff at Harris Primary Academy Beckenham are hoping that @lbofbromley planning committee will vote in favour of proposals to build a permanent primary school.

Planning officers have recommended plans be approved but Councillors need to know the scheme has public support before they’ll agree. Twice before the Councillors have voted against their officers recommendation for this scheme.

The building programme would see a permanent primary school (to replace the temp school that will open this September) along with a rebuild and modernisation of the existing secondary school building on the site.

The vote will take place on 13 July. If councillors vote in favour, their decision will ensure that reception year children will have security about their school’s future before it opens its doors in September.

What can you do to help? Please come along and show your support at the committee meeting 13th July 7:30pm Bromley Civic Centre.

If can’t make the meeting but would like to show your support, please email Bromley Planning (planning@bromley.gov.uk) or email the committee members. Contact details are available here:
