Out of all the zillions of mumsnetters in Bristol, does no-one want to meet up?

I can do that as long as it is in school hours, I wont have any DCs (except the one currently residing in me) is that ok?

will the museum be busy this saturday? I'm planning to go there then, but maybe I can go tomorrow if it's less busy on fridays.

We passed the Museum on the way to somewhere else last Sat and the queues were mahoosive (but that was opening weekend).

Would love to meet up, but am away on hols next week.

belgo Thu 25-Jun-09 20:18:31

thanks rhinestone. Maybe I'll have time to go there tomorrow afternoon. I'm only in Bristol until sunday.

Just remembered -- the lift was broken last week, so call ahead to see whether it will be fixed. There are lots and lots of steps.

Queues still massive today - security told me the best time to come is 10am on a weekday (when they open) or around 3/4pm ish, as it's only open till 4 or 5, so it'll be thinning out by then.

We're planning on going possibly on Monday morning if anyone's interested? Will have DS2 (12 weeks) in sling for ease of movement.

belgo Thu 25-Jun-09 20:24:08

I'll have ds in a sling. I won't be in bristol on monday, I only have a couple of days.

RhinestoneCowgirl Thu 25-Jun-09 20:32:03

How's it going WhatFreshHell? Haven't been on MN so much recently.

WhatFreshHellIsThis Thu 25-Jun-09 20:38:41

Pretty good - DS2 is eating me to a skeleton (this is good, we like it wink), DS1 is potty trained (hurrah!) and I'm off on holiday next week.

How about you?

navyeyelasH Thu 25-Jun-09 20:48:41

I would really love to meet you all but I'm not a mum - I'm a nanny is that ok? I can't do that date though so maybe the next one?

Riven yes you still have to queue even if you need the cafe - well at least that was the deal last week.

But I'm sure lots of mums could convince security to be let in! I just looked like a queue jumper TBH.

If you want to see the Bankst thing I drive past most days at 3pm and there are no queues.

HTH

I've met two mumsnetters in RL, one lovely lady in Bristol met a few times now and another one who got banned.

Is Clifton still nice? I have my OSCAR tomorrow and you have to wait for an hour before going back and don't want to get soggy in the thunderstorms with dd.
